The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

That’s not a bad idea actually.

Drug addicts do what drug addicts do.

You have an insurance that would cause you to win if he wins big or small

Not really. He’s actually using that to profit now and doing it in front of everyone.

If you look here (which is a small sample) you can find initial reporting in many other locations. Even the National Review reminding us of the Trump University scam.

Trump showing pictures of giant book about health care he let Stahl look at. Is this the book that has the plan that covers everyone for cheaper that he talked about while running?! Finally!

Spoiler alert: Seems to be blank.

Any proof of this?
And how does it square with the non ending He owes $1BB, he’s losing money daily, blah blah, that is commonly read?

But they ARE talking about it. In interviews and on The View. But what they aren’t saying is that the emails are not real. Not once. It’s dirty tricks, it’s Russian smear, it’s Rudy being Rudy. But never once do they deny the emails are real.

Google Trump profiting off Presidency and start there for articles. He hasn’t exactly tried to hide it.

Profiting might have been a mistake. Trump is directing taxpayer money to his businesses and has been constantly since being in office. Millions of dollars. He could be losing money overall because have you listened to him talk? Does anyone think he’s playing with a full deck right now?

Yes, they’re deflecting while getting people to focus less on the emails and more on the “people out to get them”. Typical politics. Smart move, though.

But if the emails are not real, the SMART move would be to say that while doing the rest of it.

IMHO if they had any dealings with China, they are not clean. No fucking way. Even if the emails aren’t real, you don’t want people following that trail and picking up the real dirt that could REALLY lead to severe charges. Best to just deflect and hope this thing blows over.

Not saying this is necessarily the case. Just speculating like everyone else.

Also, you know how Trump manages to literally wave away any allegations against him almost like they’re jokes to him? Standard tactic. I don’t need to keep defending myself against the evidence. I brush it off because I “know” it’s an “obvious hoax”. Then I focus on tearing down the ones spreading the “hoax”.

Same thing here. But Trump has the natural charisma and demeanor to pull it off without his fans even noticing. Even some people who think he’s guilty will have doubts and may stop further digging into the matter.

Biden doesn’t. But it’s the best move right now because all the other options suck IMO.

One thing Trump does very good is playing the pseudo-sectarian card. If you consider half the country enemies - check out his adversarial rhetoric about red vs blue states - that you’re in a state of constant low-key warfare, then the behavior of his base makes perfect sense.

You have to lie, cheat and swindle to thwart the enemy by any means necessary. Any lie, sleight-of-hand is perfectly acceptable when you believe it’s all a sham and that the other side wants you dead.

This is where Trump’s virtualism comes into play - if you manage to detach the base sufficiently from reality and convince them that the alternative is literal extermination, there’s nothing that could change their mind.

What are your options? In 2016 it was either Trump or the end of human civilization because HRC was allegedly hellbent on starting WW3. At the RNC in 2016 Rudy said that if Trump doesn’t win it would be the last elections in American history.

In 2020 they believe the choice is between Trump and Antifa death squads gunning you down on your doorstep. So it’s a no-brainer for them.

The same way people vote in dysfunctional sectarian societies - a Lebanese Christian has voted 30 years straight for a guy who embezzled 1 billion. Why? The alternative is literally death.

I’ve not analyzed Trump deeply enough to know if this is what he’s really doing since my observations of him are that his actions aren’t just political tactics, they’re also tactics high level people in business use to engage in power play in meetings, cover their asses and swing clients and even contractors to their sides.

But the tactic you’ve described is entirely accurate from what I see in other countries like China. Despite all the rubbish in the media about people in China feeling oppressed and shit, the people actually LOVE Xi Jinping because of his anti-corruption campaign(which is just surface level bullshit).

But unlike Trump, Xi is a bloody chemical engineering grad, which puts him almost on the same
level as a fucking rocket scientist lol. And he has a phd in Law and Ideology.

EDIT:

Got the cave part wrong. But look at his fucking life.

This isn’t a man you can fucking outsmart lol. Whenever Trump boasts about “outplaying” China, it’s bullshit. Their top talent is in the government, not the private sector.

Historically, whomever becomes the apex predator of any communist party in power is not to be fucked with.

Even communist leaders who have been ridiculed throughout history were extremely capable, ruthless operators - Fidel died in his bed and Cuba is still communist (sort of)

Comparing Xi to a TV personality is frankly insulting. Trump is an actor - he has a deep understanding of the media that he’s been using to his advantage - the statement that “Covid is boring” is extremely revealing.

When people turn on their social media feeds they don’t want to read about downers, an impersonal virus killing people and distressing, depressing numbers about ICU capacity and infection rates.

People want entertainment, and more importantly an emotionally charged yet surprisingly easy to understand narrative and Trump is a master in delivering that, regardless whether it’s true or not (almost always the latter).

That was the case in the USSR. Hence the early oligarch were disproportionally Jewish and Central Asian - they were discriminated against in the government by ethnic Russians so the smart ones turned to early “entrepreneurship” which gave them a head start in the chaos that were the 1990ies.

This is right on point. I’ve heard people say Trump is a moron, idiot, whatever. Fuck I’ve probably said it. But in his own lane he knows what he’s doing. He’s got the attention span of a fruit fly, per people who have worked with him, and he knows that there are a lot of other people who are the same way. Why take the time to read an article in a real newspaper or journal when you can read a tweet in 3 seconds?

Looks like Russia is trying to influence the election for Trump while Iran is doing the same for Biden: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/21/us/politics/iran-russia-election-interference.html?action=click&campaign_id=9&emc=edit_nn_20201022&instance_id=23369&module=Top+Stories&nl=the-morning&pgtype=Homepage&regi_id=100697800&section_index=2&section_name=the_latest_news&segment_id=41854&te=1&user_id=8d4c64805c87386b60327cf34479b3c9

The question is what is Trump going to do about it? In 2016 Obama was ineffectual in his efforts to stop Russia in their attempts to help Trump. Obama’s main action appeared to be telling Putin he’s a bad boy and he better stop. I figure Trump will bitch, scream and moan about Iran and ignore Russia.

It’s the reassuring familiarity of a scripted wrestling show. Discovered e-mails, corruption, probably an announcement of an investigation…

In two months’ time no one will care about Hunter Biden much like no one cares now about Hillary’s e-mails, Benghazi, Uranium One or other villains from Season One.

I know you lived here a couple of years along with grandfather living here some time.

But you dont quite understand the non progressive mindset here. We are not literally scared antifa or some brownshirt arm of the Democrats are going to put us in a concentration camp while the leo and military cowers in fear to get in their way.

We are worried that the most obscenely progressive powermongers utilize the governmental structure to subjugate and destroy us. Policies that have the weight of the state for their enforcement. Taxation to bankrupt us, laws that prevent us from speaking/gathering freely, the eventual abolition of private gun ownership (you know first hand, tyrants want serfs weaponless),
stripping our religious values/practices, and so on.

The goal is not some incremental change or a preference here or there. It is radical transformation. The Leftists themselves have openly stated it.

I am not fooled by the argument that it can only happen where uneducated agrarian rubes are used to being run by a strongman. It just taken a long longer to soften up the masses that have been raised hearing God, country, mom, apple pie, freedom for centuries. By no coincidence, the very things under attack for at least half of my life i.e., entire life of some here.
