Project veritas is founded by James Okeefe which automatically makes the reporting sources suspect. I think I will wait to some more reputable outlets report on this before passing judgement but on the surface something doesn’t pass the smell test.

Just watch the video. Yeah, James Okeefe is a target because his videos brought down ACORN, remember that? He’s been getting slammed in the media ever since. But the problem is, he wasn’t lying about ACORN, they were destroyed, under Obama because the corruption exposed was too bad to ignore.
Just ask the questions, who’s lying? Has Illian Omar ever lied? You bet. Has Wikileaks ever lied? Nope. Has Project Veritas ever lied? Nope.

I was talking to some friends about tax cheat revelation and we all agreed that none of it matters to the 35% who support him. They already know he is a liar and a cheat. If the guy died of a heart attack today, I bet you most of that 35% would still vote for him a a write in candidate.
I’ve pointed out more than once that is a huge advantage that Trump has over Biden…his negatives are already “baked-in”…and have been since before he was an official Presidential Candidate; and certainly by the time he blew through the GOP Presidential Primaries with his first run.

Oh yeah, the taxes! The big bomb shell is that there is in fact, no Russian collusion. Otherwise, I don’t care. Jeff Bezos doesn’t pay taxes either, neither does any other rich person. The system is broken, no shock there. Unless there is something massively illegal going on, I don’t care.
Oh yeah, except the where Racheal Maddow rants that once we see his tax returns, it will completely “prove” that Trump colluded with Russia. So, yawn me yet another bombshell that doesn’t mean anything.

I think a good amount of them think the guy has pretty good morals, and that the evidence to the contrary is manufactured. It is crazy that someone could think that, but we also have flat earth making a come back. I don’t know how to quantify what percent of them are in this group, but lots of people in interviews that state stuff like this. Maybe the interviews are only showing those “dumb” people (which is worse being dumb, or supporting a crook?).
No collusion with Russia is not a logical conclusion to come to from the tax returns. The tax returns did not support the conclusion of collusion, but that does not in any way mean they support a conclusion of no collusion.

Yeah I kind of take issue with this myself. I’m not a Trump fan but a republican who will end up voting for him regardless. I also own a medium sized business. I try to reduce my taxes as much as possible. Who wouldn’t? I still can’t fathom paying zero. I pay way more in taxes than anybody I personally know but at a lower percentage than a lot of those people after write offs. Still almost zero seems unpatriotic.

Hey, I never said that, the media made those claims. Talk to Rachael Maddow or Bill Maher any of the many others who made that claim.

I am guessing the tax law has been good for small / medium business. I think liking the policy can be separate from liking Trump. I can understand the former, the latter I have trouble understanding (someone else here has said something similar).
I voted for McCain and Romney previous to Trump. I couldn’t pull the trigger on someone I saw as conman with Trump. I fear with Trump the GoP has lost many of its values that appealed to me (mostly fiscal responsibility). I hope they can get back to their previous values and support candidates more like McCain than Trump. Just my opinion.
This is the claim I am talking about here. The tax returns don’t support this claim.

Honestly, I am really, really tired of the violence, but it keeps coming. These threats do not give me any joy, despite the fact it will help Trump.
People suffer in this crap and it just keeps coming and coming and coming. And perhaps that’s the plan, wear people down, normalize it, get people used to mob rule.
Sure, it helps Trump, but I would rather do without the help. We can just elect on the issues, instead of the whole culture and society, but nooooo… they burn they loot, they steal and they kill.
My resistance to the left, right now, has to do with the riots and the violence and defund the police instead of wedge issues. I see the democrats and I envision building burning, riots and looting, not hippy-dippy peace and free love. They are not people I merely disagree with, they are people who scare me, people who want to hurt me physically. I don’t, I can’t live like that.
If it were issues we were talking about, I would disagree, but at least I wouldn’t be afraid. But I am afraid and I do not like being afraid, so right now I am voting for freedom and security.
The democrats are promising lockdowns and violence if they don’t get their way, how could I possibly be expected to support that?
