This challenge is just slightly less lame than the Tide Pod challenge. First off I’m not buying any political clothing because I’m not a tool. Second essentially everyone knows how most people in the area they live in would react. If I wear a Maga hat or confederate flag shirt here I’m one of many. No doubt I would be looked at differently and possibly get some comments if I had a black lives matter piece on. But that reaction might be quite different for me when I get 40 miles down the road to a more progressive college town.
No one disputes marine 1 was grounded for bad weather. But trump claims that was the 1 and only travel plan made by the secret service? Nah. All the other leaders drove. Sorry, not buying it.
I dont think I would make out of my own house with the shirt intact if I wore a maga shirt, not that I would anyway.

The Chinese have an objectively weaker hand to play (I am mixing metaphors here), but they at least know how to play, know the odds, and worst of all for us have a very long term view of the struggle. Trump does not understand how to win friends and influence people on the world stage, nor does he know how to combat this.
I actually think a trade war COULD HAVE been helpful to us, but I don’t think Trump executed any strategy well…or at all. For the record I was not for a trade war, merely believe it could have ended with increased leverage for us under a competent player.
I like it. Zero risk move; none of them will take him up on it, and it recalls moods of Andrew Jackson’s inauguration party with whiskey and juice… only with no crowd.

Well we’re probably never going to know. Goldberg and others standing by his sources. Trump insisting it’s fake or whatever. If you don’t get something on tape it’s always going to be denied by some no matter what. Can’t do much about that.
The thing is would anyone really be surprised if he said this? That to me is a huge issue. If these sources were wrong or this was all made up to slander then yeah that’s bad of course. But would people really be surprised by this? I mean I would have been surprised if it was GWB, Obama, Reagan, etc. But Trump? Not a bit. And that’s the issue. That we wouldn’t be surprised by the President saying this. And why would we?
Does he have a history of saying horrible things privately? Yes. Does he have a history of saying horribly things publicly? Yes. Talked shit on members of the military before? Yeah many times. In other words do these quotes attributed make sense based off his character? Absolutely.
Doesn’t make it true of course. But it is incredibly inline with his character.

It’s pretty common. I would say if you spent a day going to different stores in town you’d see no shortage of confederate flag hats, shirts, bumper stickers, signs, whatever.
Now I don’t want to get it twisted and it’s not like every single person has one and the majority of course don’t. But it’s not even close to rare in this county. In fact one of the schools has asked the kids who fly big confederate flags on their vehicles to put them away when they do their veterans parade. I don’t think it was forced or anything just asked if they would on that day. Also have a few kids in that same school with confederate flag masks.
Kansas isn’t the reddest of the red but it’s pretty red still on the whole. Not kidding I was driving on the phone the other day talking to my mom and I almost slammed my brakes because I saw a Biden sign in the window.

Show me where there hasn’t been increasingly lethal violence by the far-left in this country? 33 people are dead. How many have to die before it’s a big deal?

But the only way I can…or will…answer that question is if the questioner is being honest and straightforward (speaking of “Strawman”…I never have, and never will say that all of this rioting, looting and killing is not a big deal. It’s horrendous not only because of the destruction and death it is causing…but that I feel strongly that it will put Trump right back in the White House).
Back to your point. I don’t think that you are being honest, @pat about the fact that you and other posters on this site have painted a picture IN TOTAL that is one of widespread death, destruction and Marxism that is overtaking the Country; as poor besieged Conservatives and White Supremacist are sitting on the sidelines watching it all happen in horror and in silence, as the “MSM” (which now includes Social Media I guess) will not let their words be heard.
I’m calling bullshit what it is…bullshit. And the words do not always have to match the sentiment.
I think the idea that these rioters/protesters will cause a civil war in an attempt to take over the nation is ridiculous. There aren’t that many of them. But, the real issue with them is how the media and democrats react. People are turned off by the media labeling these criminals as anti-racist protesters. They are turned off by politicians who are afraid to call them what they are and protect the citizens they serve. They are turned off by the obvious pandering like dressing up as “Africans” and taking a knee. They don’t like that police are vilified as if they are the biggest obstacle to peace in the inner cities when they know the stats of black on black violent crime.
As far as Marxism, it is taking over college campuses. But it’s a Marxism with a white supremacy angle attached. That is, capitalism is a product of white supremacy. It is already modifying how courses are taught.

And guess what? When it’s all over there will be analyses and books written as to why Trump won a second Term…with none getting to the root cause.
