The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

Pot, meet kettle.

All you’ve done is deflect. I asked a direct question about self-defense (Tyson caving yiur skull in) and you avoid answering. You just throw out the BS that an armed person can’t use their weapons to defend themselves against an unarmed person.

I think it was more about avoiding an opportunity to give Trump a chance to say “Democratic mayors can’t handle the violence - required a real law and order man like me to clean up the mess they caused!”.

Trump would have certainly done that, but that shouldn’t have stopped them.

By “deflect”, do you mean constantly correcting all your misstatements about how this works? See “character evidence”, etc.

I never said that - but it can definitely cut against an argument of self-defense if you are more heavily armed, because it undermines a claim of defense when you show up looking like you want to go on offense.

I never said you never can. Christ, you’re awful at this.

Well, mission accomplished on that one! They sure showed him.

Exactly! If that’s what they actually thought…They accomplished exactly what they supposedly feared.

And then Biden gives finally gives a big speech focused on denouncing months of violence. Names Trump, white nationalists, and right wing militias…Please tell me that, despite reports to the contrary, he called out Antifa and BLM? Tell me the man actually named left wing groups that have been organizing violent meetups for months.

Where is the epidemic of white nationalists causing all this destruction and violence? It’s been months of left wing violence. Because of Rittenhouse? Assuming that’s an accurate portrayal of him that makes up what proportion of violence since this began? This has been a massively lop-sided left wing affair.

I don’t think he did. Ok, so? Did he condemn the violence and property destruction? And he did call for the perpetrators to be prosecuted? What does that mean to you?

Nothing, man. I think it’s pretty self-evident what my criticism is and why it’s reasonable. Just world’s apart, I guess.

No. I mean doubling down on your original position. 17 year old bad. 3 violent criminals good.

No. How armed you are doesn’t matter. Lethal force does not factor in the weapon. If you can shoot someone with a pistol, you can shoot them with a shotgun. If you can use a knife, you can use a sword. It’s smart to outgun the criminal, not illegal.

Like the 3 felons who attacked the kid? Or do you think of them as peaceful protesters?

Because he blamed the people who are not responsible. This is why the Dems will have problems: they insult the intelligence of “liberal” voters.

This is called winning.

So I’m deflecting on my position while at the same time doubling down on my position. Good Lord.

You stopped being coherent or interesting about 10 posts ago. We’re done. Have a great one.

This is winning messaging.

Wisconsin is going to the GOP, fuck what the polls say that at this point.

OK. I think you’re just being a big baby who can’t accept he was probably wrong. The fact you didn’t know that the three men who were shot had criminal records, shows that you started running your mouth before having the facts. And now that the facts are being thrown at you, you can’t just admit you spoke too soon.

The fact you think being better armed than an attacker means anything if lethal force is justified, shows you have no clue. And unlike you, I have worked as an LEO. I train LEOs. I train civilians in self-defense. If people listened to you, they would be victims of violence rather than survivors. Again, if lethal force is justified, it doesn’t matter if I have one gun or ten.

This is what people (like thunderbolt23) don’t understand. People see a 17 year old who wanted to do the right thing and three violent criminals. Most people, even those who typically vote democrat, don’t let tribalism or Trump hate affect how they see what happened between the two parties. They don’t see a murdered Trump supporter and think, well, that’s what he gets. They are disturbed by that regardless of how much dislike they have for Trump. And Biden’s refusal, like most Dems, to call out the scum on the left (who probably don’t even vote; some are felons who probably can’t vote) hurts him in moderate Democrat eyes. And most Dem voters are moderates.

Honestly, if I were a scheming leftist sociopath, Trump’s reelection would be a godsend. Four more years of widening the “thought corridor” for extreme Marxist and Maoist ideologies while focusing on complete control over woke college fiefdoms.

It would also give one time to pummel the D gerontocracy in the House and Senate primaries with young, disciplined soldiers of the cause thus paving way to a far left demagogue as a Presidential Candidate once the pendulum inexorably swings blue.

Revolutionary defeatism. I do wonder if Biden losing will result in the full Corbynization of the Democratic Party.

Is Biden the Ed Milliband of the Democrat party? There’s a disquieting thought.

Off topic, but I am sure that is, in fact, what you are. You’re the agent of demoralisation that Bezmenov warned about!
