I dont see anyway he doesnt get the bejesus sued out of him civilly where its just preponderance of evidence not reasonable doubt. Does anyone know if the damages will take into account the amount that the right wing will fundraise for him?
He isnt, but he had 250k raised just on the news that he shot some antifa. I can only imagine how much more he will raise when the rightwing adopts him as their next sandman.
Sorry dude, I’m interested in discussing this with people who have some sense of knowing what they’re talking about, and you’ve proven you’re not one. One of the people mixing it up with the shooter was a sex offender? Why on earth would that matter, if true?
The fact you don’t know the facts says something about you.
But here is why it matters: you find it very easy to believe that a 17 year old was out for liberal blood, why? You have a a convicted sex offender. A disgusting, violent piece of garbage, on video, yelling at the kid; calling him a n**** and daring him to shoot. Now, it’s so hard for you to believe that that same violent criminal, who moments earlier was screaming like a maniac at a kid, would not try and assault that kid when he saw he was alone? You give the violent criminal the benefit of the doubt? If you were that kid and saw that man, such that he is, approaching you, what would you think? When he lunges at you what would you think? Why is it so hard for you to believe that a violent criminal behaved like a violent criminal?
And I’m sure, as I have been issued weapons by the government and sent to work among civilians, that the JAG officers told me more about proper use of lethal force than you know.
Maybe you don’t read well, but not interested. The fact the guy is a sex offender - if true - isn’t irrelevant. Wouldn’t even be admitted at trial. Thanks for playing.
Of course not. Your TDS has you finding it hard to believe that a violent criminal acted like a violent criminal. If true? It is a fact he was a registered sex offender. You don’t have the facts yet you cast judgement. In fact, all three of the men who were shot were convicted criminals. The one with a pistol who was shot in the arm was a convicted felon and legally not allowed to possess a gun. Skateboard guy was a violent domestic abuser. But hey, let’s assume they were the good guys.
I don’t think there is a problem with our society if he gets off because I see self defense here regardless of possession of a rifle, but I DEFINITELY think there is a big problem if he is celebrated at all by others. Self defense is self defense. Kid will probably have nightmares for a long long time.
I think the most he gets is a misdemeanor if they tack on some sort of possession charge, but so far it doesn’t seem like a prosecutor can get anywhere near “beyond reasonable doubt” for murder.
Yes we are judging the one who shot to death two unarmed civilians with an illegally obtained assault rifle, after traveling across state lines to a community not his own to confront people he disliked. Those are facts as well.
The kid should bear some responsibility for what happened.
Anyways, he is on video attempting to retreat until a gunshot is fired behind him. And again, the kid was actually acting as a medic for rioters…
In the case of the Trump supporter that was just shot they literally spotted him, converged on him, pointing him out, confirming it was him, then two shots.
Who in their right mind won’t be strapped to the gills going to these riots now? Fuckit. Its open season. You can shoot who you want, claim self defense (“i feared for my life officer”) if you are a right winger, Meanwhile you can just take pot shots and just blend back into the mob of rioters if youre an antifa nutjob.
It should have never escalated to this. Should have left the guns at home, but this was the inevitable escalation is a gun crazy country.
