Instead of being offended that the agents that represent order and security are being killed, and the ramifications to our society of such a mindset, peaceful protestors that wouldn’t disperse are martyrs

You were in the military. Do Generals and high ranking officials just wade into hostile areas? Particularly when violence against the enforcers of society are being openly attacked? You are disagreeing simply to disagree.

This is America, not Afghanistan. Attacking citizens, who you even say were peaceful in order to take a picture is negligence and stupidity.
And no, a general would not go into a hostile area if it meant escalating the hostilities.

You know what doesnt work? Doing NOTHING to address the protestors concerns, and instead denigrating them, threatening them with violence, and then violently dispersing a group of them for an obvious publicity stunt meant to please the very demographic the protesters are angry with.

Seemingly indifferent to the obvious difference between peaceful assembly to air grievances and destroying property and attacking police.
Yes, that was a peaceful protest that trump ordered dispersed with violence so he could have a photo op to pander to the bible belt for the upcoming election.
But somehow you think it is justified for Trump to violently disperse a peaceful, lawful protest because he shouldnt have to fear them… because no general in a warzone would put up with hostile mobs along his travel route.
Obviously, unloading with a 50 cal would end it but who wants to have that blood on their hands?
This is somewhat of a joke but also serious, parents need to kick their “professional activist” kids out of the house or at least make them pay rent. When I see mugshots of these people I see unemployable losers. The mayor of NYC said, about his daughter who was arrested, that he was proud of her for standing up for something. What a joke. She’s the mayor’s daughter so it didn’t take much courage for her to risk arrest. She also looks like a homeless drug addict. And I do believe that is relevant since people who take pride in their appearance are probably happier than those who don’t.
I think the only thing to do is wait it out and try to protect businesses and people with as little violence as possible. Then we need to look at what is wrong with white people in this country. How are they raising kids who want to fight a fascism that doesn’t exist? Those left leaning pundits who talk about Antifa like they are the good guys (they are anti-fascism!) need to look at the people they are defending. They are miserable little losers who are so bored with their lives and so lacking in imagination, talent and ambition, they blame some non-existent fascism for their misery. Once you pick up that brick, you are no longer one of the good guys.
If I were black and saw some white people in their hoodies (funny how ant-fascists are so conforming that they wear what are basically uniforms) protesting, I would tell them that I don’t see them any differently than I see the police. They get to go back to their parents’ homes in the suburbs after it’s over thanks to the very system they claim is oppressing them.
