No one lives in a world where they agree lockstep with every word or deed.
I personally carry zero debt… as in zero even on credit cards. Although I have purchased several houses, rental properties and a couple of businesses.
So what do you think my personal opinion of excess debt is?
Biden has made many debunked claims/lies about his activities for equality from youth.
If I said to any Trump defender/apologist on the forum that his dead wife was unfaithful, they would call me a piece of garbage, at best. If I then said that their POW father or grandfather was no hero and mocked his military service and sacrifice, they would think even less of me than they already did. If I did all of this in the media or on a social media platform that reaches millions, they would be even more angry with me. If they saw other people defending me and excusing what I said, they would think the world had gone crazy.
If they were to then be asked if they thought someone who said that about their dead wife and father/grandfather was fit to be president, they would say no. They wouldn’t want trash occupying the White House or being the face of this country.
But here they are defending Trump and making excuses.

Or on the fundamental concept of how an economy should be run. This isn’t a “hey, you’re a fiscal conservative, I’m a fiscal conservative, but we disagree on some issues” thing.
Probably the opposite of POTUS opinion about the subject.

True, but I can’t quite make the jump to free school, housing, medical, stipend, and retirement for all who desire to live here. With no input in the coffers.
We also have more political leaders in this country than the President. I happen to be a believer in Primus inter pares with Congress in that role. Unfortunately, they are seemingly not up to that task.
The thing is busing, is not an issue like voting rights. There are many blacks who don’t support it.
How can I know why they don’t avail themselves to copious amounts of rebuttal to Biden’s claims?
Why do atheists scream how evil Christians are, when I see thousands of dollars/acts of charity just in my tiny view, which extrapolated out is billions of each per year? I don’t know.
Do you have a historical precedent when any kind of populist was successfully checked by another branch of government/parliament/whomever?
If anything history has repeatedly taught us that relying on “centrists” to balance things out if a forlorn hope by their very definition of being in the center.

I do agree that history is replete with strong individuals trying to rule countries, empires, etc single-handedly. They either run into others of the same persuasion or their own people either displace them, or the whole thing collapses.
