Sure thing - I totally trust these guys to give me unvarnished, unbiased, objective news coverage.

Thanks for wasting my time.

Sure thing - a group of partisan ideologues who want to push their propaganda can deliver the straight news better than can a company who sells advertising space to turn a profit.

Right. Because if you rail against Murdoch as the “mastermind” of conservatively biased news coverage, you would naturally expect his leftist counterparts to be completely unbiased and accurate…right.

Sorry, not buying it.

And no, I don’t watch Fox news.

Really. Well give me an example of propaganda served up by the Real News Network and the reason for said propaganda. Should be easy enough.

The news is: Who, what, when, where, how?

I don’t like when the new agencies try to answer, “why?”

Anyone can report the news, however, it is the analysis that is often misinterpreted as news.

24x7 news outlets mean 24x7 spin-doctoring; how long should an anchor need to talk about any event that happens and how long can he do it before injecting opinions into it? FOX, CNN, and NBC are mostly spin and very little actual news.
