No, not really, but it’s what we ended up with after we had to put my other dog down. Charlie (the brown one) was available, so we took him. Then Roxie needed a home so we ended up taking her, too. It was kind of a coincidence, but still worked out nicely.

The fawn one on the left is Baby, she’s half pit half boxer. The white and fawn one is Mocha Bear the Tiny Terrorist. Baby is my girls, and we’be been living together for about a month and these two are inseperable.

This is Gus, aka the Gus Face Killa. He’s my first pit, and my only male. Pics don’t do him justice. He’s a beast. He stays out in the country with my mom.

And this is Penny, aka Ms. Pretty Penny Rabbit. She was my first female and is an absolute sweetheart. She also stays in the country. All in all, I have four amazing dogs and I couldn’t be any luckier or happier.

Question for dog owner’s here or people who have had dog’s in the past,do you prefer dog’s or bitches? just curious.

He’s thick as hell. What do you feed that thing?

From what I’ve heard, pit-bulls only eat other dogs and children.

Yes.

What I love about the breed is their strength, loyalty, drive and tenacity. They are extremely athletic and for their size, insanely strong. You can rough house with them because they have robust and sturdy physiques. Oh and to me they seem to have a noble look about them.

don’t forget the bully breeds are very very intelligent. it is a challenge to own and be a master to such a powerful and INTELLIGENT breed. that is the allure for many people I think. unfortunately, many people who have bullies, are not up to that challenge, thus all the tragic incidents that get a lot of bad press thus the misunderstanding of this breed.

Not to be confused with our fellow T-Nation member. This thread is for those of us who own pitbulls. I have two.

The white one is a female, her name is Roxie. The brown one is a male and his name is Charlie.

Feel free to post pictures of you pits.

i do not own any pit bulls at this time, I am a giant breed enthusiast, that is mastiffs, wolfhounds, Danes, I own and foster giant breeds, but I have fostered some bully breeds, Americans, boxers, am-staffs, so I know a little about them. my last bully foster was a 135lb Scott type American bulldog, most powerful dog i have ever had on a leash, and that is saying lots, since i have had a 200lbs wolfhound before.
i have a very big crush on the bully breeds and the people who are able to successfully own them.

wow! the textbook pit! epitomizing strength, power, and tenacity!

here is a pic of my last successful bully foster/adoption. Milo the Meatball. rescued him from a high kill shelter after his family could not handle him after their live in 25 year old daughter and her “baby daddy” moved back in with them after having twins.

135lbs of pure bully perfection. scott-type americans bullies, think of a pit on steroids. lol.

I still dog-sit for MIlo, and he LOVES my 150lb Dane, Sebastian!

here is another rescue/adoption, Joker, an Am-Staff mix…

both have pros and cons…depends on what you want and can handle.
