The Palin/Biden Debate: 10/02/08

That question about the vice presidency as part of the legislature was a gotcha question and Palin blew it.

True, she is coming off too matter of fact.

those seem to me to be desperate attempts to deflect that she has no substance with which to answer

I think next time my wife and I are “debating” I’m going to pull a Palin and just answer whatever damn thing I feel like. To hell with what was asked…
LOL - I know, I’m not sure I"ve ever seen a debater so willfully and entirely disregard questions. At some points she wasn’t even pretending to do so.

Yeah, she got owned on that one.

How so?

She is the governor of a state that has 1/5 the population of Chicago, thats not saying much.

She is doing great! She has managed to not answer a single question. I really like her first half strategy. I don’t want to answer that I want to talk about energy. She is using we’re mavericks as many times as McCain said “in my 26 years”.

Reference FAIL by mentioning Reagan.
katzenjammer wrote:
she’s got to quit using the maverick thing. If it’s true you don’t have to keep saying it.
Yeah, I agree. She is parroting it a bit too much.

The VP is a part of the executive, any other suggestion is power grabbing. Palin, with her hidden dealings via personal e-mail, is walking down the path of being Cheney lite…

He said he doesn’t “know what it’s like to have a child who’s, uh, uh, uh, not gonna make it” was he going to say a child who’s going to have Down’s or “retarded”.

She seemed shaken by it.

She is killing the Maverick word WAY too much.

Too bad this is the only VP debate, otherwise next time we could try a drinking game where we take a shot whenever we hear “maverick”

…everyone has health insurance right??

He lost a daughter (and wife) in a car crash and both sons were in the hospital as a result.

That is some horrible shit, to think someone could lose so much.

Why does Biden get the FIRST and LAST words? hmm, oh yeah, liberal biased moderator. Duh.

“appoint people regardless of party affiliation…” but regardless of job suitability as long as you went to high school with them

yeah those damn liberal coins…I bet they used kennedy half-dollar

I call it a draw overall, but what the public as a whole thinks is what determines who won.

I just cannot stand Biden so I may not be a neutral observer.
