What does that actually mean?
@thunderbolt23
Actually I can respect a post like this one and it causes me to research that security firm.
It is condescending and impudent replies that wreck the discussions here.
My post wasn’t to condescend - it was to point out your faulty appeal to authority. By virtue of his career, Judge Napolitano is no better a position to know what’s going on in the hack than Bismark.
You put his resume up against a hypothetical Bismark’s to claim Bismark must be wrong.
I will admit my post was abrupt and did not convey fully my thought.
Although Bismark may be correct, there is no reason for him or smh or you to continually act like every conservative source - whether personality or citation, is not worthy of any consideration or acknowledgement of their education, achievement, professional standing, etc. I admit zeb and pusharder did the same and I dont condone it even when it lines up with my view.
Judge Napolitano discuses what William Binney said to a radio audience about the NSA having Hillary’s missing emails and the possibility the DNC email leak was from someone in the NSA, not Russia.
William Binney probably would qualify as a subject matter expert on NSA email gathering.
There was a story on the news here recently about a student at CMU who had created and distributed a virus to approximately 60,000 other hackers around the world. Given the proliferation of these types of tech, it becomes more like " an SKS made by Norinco" than serial killer.
Behold this truth -a We Want Change. Bernie and Trump represent wall crumbling bug eyed change. Many Bernie people will vote for Trump if Hillary is nominated.
So, not bothered at all by the corruption exposed by the release? Only concerned with “who-dunnit”? Exchanging the facts of what we do know for the speculation we don’t?
Bet of this were a republican expose you wouldn’t give the slightest damn who did it.
Do you have evidence he’s wrong? If so, present your evidence. Why should we trust you over him?
All Binney did was speculate that someone at NSA actually did the hacking at the DNC because there are NSA people angry at Hillary and looking to hurt her. I didn’t see any facts to suggest this actually happened - just speculation. Whatever Binney’s subject matter expertise, it wasn’t at issue here.
Credibility matters. Judge Napolitano is a fringe nutter, and he’s just repeating someone’s speculation as a viable theory as to what actually happened.
Nope, there’s nothing useful there.
I don’t act like every conservative source is unworthy of consideration - but I’ll take issue with any source that served up weak soup or deliberate misnformation. And if that source keeps showing up as a repeat offender (see Breitbart), I’ll damn it as having lost credibility, as will others.
That’s how it works. I’m just not one not to mindlessly believe anything I read from a confirmation bias site. Increasingly, that’s a waning priority on the Right these days.
What makes him a fringe nutter?
His fringe nutter beliefs. He’s a bozo. The man continues to claim the Civil War was really over tariffs, and he claims the vast edifice of the federal government is unconstitutional - not bad, but unconstitutional. He has taken the position the federal government has no constitutional authority to own land.
Fringe nutter.
You cannot just accuse the right of heavy fact-absent bias…
For instance, this instance sticks out and I am paraphrasing but CNN literally had a headline reading “8 year old blasts Trump on instagram”… How the fuck is that news? It was a headline. An 8 yr old blasting trump on social media is news? How? There’s probably a half million kids ripping both candidates on social media, how is one doing it news?
If we’re being fair, liberal bias is way more prevelant. I understand not taking a bona-fide wingnut source seriously at all. Like for me that would be a moveon.org or similar. But we cannot just disregard medit we don’t like.
I didn’t. But for the Right, it has gotten tremendously worse in a short period of time.
Would you be kind enough as to provide a link?
I don’t have a link handy - you can Google them, though.
Not cool, but I will look it up when I have time.
Where are you on the corruption exposed by the DNC leak?
I wasn’t meaning any ill will - I read these various things about/by Napotilano over time and I don’t have a go to file to provide detai on his views. I’d have to Google it same as you to get the sources.
It’s disgusting and completely predictable. I have no love for Sanders’ politics, but he deserved a level playing field on which to try to win. The great irony is the “Democratic” party made sure the process was anything but democratic.
The DNC showed itself to be nothing more than a wholly owned subsidiary of Clinton, Inc.
Sanders should remain furious, but he’s compromised because he doesn’t want his legacy to be the man who made Trump in the White House possible (by splitting the vote on the left).
I’ve said it before - Clinton is the most corrupt person I’ve ever seen win a party nomination. Every inch of her electoral success up to this point deserves an asterisk because it is lousy with cronyism, corruption, and influence peddling.
We knew this even before the most recent revelations - not the degree, necessarily, but Clinton was a known commodity - and we knew she’d be coronated by the DNC but after a bruising process, and all that was needed to defeat her would be a normal, competent garden-variety Republican. Would have been a cakewalk.
And the GOP gave us an ethno-nationalist who thinks the NYT doesn’t “write good”.
Clinton is the luckiest politician in American history.
