The Next President of the United States: IV

They should vote for Trump, he wants to give them at least $10.

hahaha can’t watch the video (at work) but did he really? Priceless.

Well, it seems that through the leaks it has been shown that the DNC was secretly supporting Hillary through various means. Now that was not a surprise right? But, when you have the DNC behind you I think that is enormous advantage don’t you?

We can prove, scientifically, that said ‘clump of cells’ is a unique human being who will only ever be that one unique human being. That should be enough, but as Frank Zappa once said ‘Stupidity is more prevalent in the universe than hydrogen’ (paraphrase, don’t remeber the exact quote). So clearly it’s not enough. An arbitrary word like ‘personhood’ never need even to be said.

I thought that was one of the more clever things he said, it was hilarious and clearly meant to be a joke.
Oh the media…The greatest thought control machine in America didn’t like it, so they spun it into a big fucking deal.
And we still have no evidence the Russian government did anything, which he also mentioned, but that was ignored. The only thing we got is that the hackers were likely Russian, may have done work for the government before, but no evidence they did this for the government.

I seem to remember nearly zero outrage by the media when there was a big classified military dump on wikileaks…They were talking about ‘free speech’ and ‘people’s right to know’. Now it’s an outrage. And people are too damn dumb to detect the rampant hypocrisy.

Did media outlets fire all their fact checkers?

I once saw a front page story that said something like “8 yr old rant against Trump on social media” ← How the fuck is that news? Nobody was murdered that day? Jobs were great the economy was doing fine? WTF?

Actually, that was during the Chicago murder rampage where 22 people were murdered in 12 hours. Nary a peep from the media because it was black on black crime.

My bad too. I will refrain.

Apparently you can get some Johnson-Weld campaign items here:

I am going to get a yard sign. I want to do my part to boost his chances of getting on the debate stage.

Apparently, Hillary will not build a wall. But she’ll build the shit out of a fence:

Hypocrisy works!

Even with all the big names onstage last night, convention-to-convention, the combined rating of the DNC stumbled against Donald Trump and the RNC. Day 3 in Philadelphia was down 18% in the fast affiliates key demo from the drama of Day 3 in Cleveland when Ted Cruz refused to endorse the candidate and running mate Mike Pence spoke.

You must take issue with the secret service detail the presidential candidates have been assigned as well. Heaven forbid that any security measures are taken for a venue full of HVT.

Just to illustrate how stupid and fallacious and childish this logic is, let’s imagine the following in the voice of a recent college graduate, a white girl with fond memories of the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, working as an intern at Buzzfeed:

Apparently, the Republicans won’t pass common sense gun reform in the United States. But they’ll ban the shit out of guns inside the Q at their convention!

The point being, obviously, that argument by analogy is weak argument, that large changes to scale have qualitative implications, that nonidentical things (countries and arenas, say) are NOT IDENTICAL, and so on.

To be clear, I’m in favor of more border security (which is not the same as a 2,000-mile fence), but I have a hard time reading a post this dumb without commenting on it.

It’s not about scale, it’s about the demographic.

Those who want to ban guns are surrounded by people with guns. Democratic politicians are against a border wall, yet when it comes to their security, they want a wall.

The argument is neither stupid or fallacious, because EVERYONE no matter the scale is interested in self-preservation.

It is literally fallacious, as in there’s a name and taxonomy for this kind of fallacy, and you can read all about it. We can get into the details if you insist.

The DNC didn’t consider it fallacious, after all, they would be the ones who would have to succumb to protesters if they weren’t stopped.

After seeing some of the behavior of the protesters, the concerns of the DNC were valid.

He mentioned himself like 120 times or something like that (saw a headline about it, but don’t care enough to actually read or watch what he said).

He did brag about himself quite a bit. He talked about her being so qualified, yet McCain and Romney were more qualified than he was. He spoke about how dark Trump’s speech was, yet they carried on how horrible a Trump Presidency would be.

What really rubbed me the wrong way was when Bam talked about how fearless she is, but she went 500 or so days without a press conference.

Honestly, the whole shit seemed like an upside down universe when you look at words vs facts. Add to that, it just seemed that Hillary’s supporting cast was the real prize of the Democratic Party, while Hillary is more of a stain.
