raj, you do realize that posting easily-debunked “election is rigged” stuff hurts your credibility and makes it more difficult to take anything else you post seriously?
Like posting an easily-spotted-as-photohopped fake ballot with the caption “RIGGED!”
Like saying “didn’t the emails show evidence of polls being rigged?” because you’re too stupid to understand how polls work.
Why am I going to watch a 30-minute video to judge whether that has anything of substance in it when most of what you’ve already posted is complete junk?
What’s even more hilarious is that I have no doubt at all that Trump supporters feel their voting fraud would be justified because THE ELECTION IS RIGGED!
Relevant thought from a friend of mine (Navy veteran and lifelong political conservative):
"I worked with classified material in the Navy. I had a security clearance. I understand people’s concerns with Secretary Clinton’s political corruption, her blatant disregard for maintaining national security and subsequently endangering service-members. I get it and it bothers me, it really gets at me.
But, you have to ask yourself, what makes you think (President) Trump would be more careful with protected information when he can’t keep himself from tweeting stuff his own staff finds disgusting? When he has his own lawsuit(s) coming, will he be less corrupt and less likely to break the law? When he promotes and hires cronies from his own sycophantic network, how will he do better on corruption? Will he protect National Security interests when he cozies up with the most powerful oligarchical crony ruler out there?
All of my friends who reject Clinton in support of Trump. Think about what your real problems are with HRC and ask yourself if you really think this man will be better on those fronts. Really?"
This is one of those rare times I will defend Trump. I don’t believe it is fair to offer the above as either a defense of Clinton or a reason to vote for her over Trump. She is the one that has done these things and she is the one that should be investigated and, imo, tried for these things. Trump shouldn’t be punished, in this case by not getting a vote, because he might act the same.
There are only about 1,000 other reasons not to vote for him as it is…
It’s a lot like my view of Clinton vs. Sanders. People were shouting from the rooftops that Sanders is an avowed socialist. I figured he was a very unsuccessful socialist. He was utterly inept as far as creating a socialist society goes. Hillary, on the other hand, gave birth to and nurtured Hillary care from the time she was first lady until it passed as The ACA. She had the fortitude and perseverance to keep shoving that bill where it didn’t belong for so long and so hard that people finally accepted that it is as it should be. Therefore, Hillary is much more of a socialist than Bernie.
Now to extend that to Hillary vs. Trump as a national security threat. Her record of mishandling info and the effort she took to create the opportunity to mishandle it is pretty well established and being further investigated currently by the FBI. Trump has some stupid tweets. Therefore, Hillary is a much greater proven security risk than Trump.
Not that he can’t screw it up. It’s just that he hasn’t.
Ha! I’m actually a Phillies fan (born and raised ~50 miles outside Philly; have lived in Pittsburgh for 12 years now, though. I’m about six years from the tipping point where I’ll have lived here longer than I lived there…)
Steelers and Pirates (and Pitt football) have all become sorta “loose” rooting interests of mine. I do root for them some, just because it’s fun, but it doesn’t really bug me that much if they lose. I’m no front-running fan, though; I don’t claim Steelers or Pirates fandom just for the sake of trashing other teams.
I’m loyal to the Eagles and Phillies (and Villanova basketball) as my main teams.
