Honestly. If the many people who act like that is the worst word in the world would stop using it, hell you could go the better part of a day or two without ever hearing the word.
Worst kept secret in the world- EVERY single white person I know uses the word casually once they know you either don’t care or use it too.

I just don’t understand how using the word nigger is going to hurt or affect Trump or his support, when virtually nothing else deemed offensive by many has.
In fact; Trump’s history has proven that the more offensive something is, his Poll numbers go up and his support actually strengthens.

I generally agree, but if he said this word - and, said it in the context of one of his usual offensive word salads - I think it will have an effect.
And it’s probably true that it will actually motivate and excite Alt-Right worms - who think he is the white nationalist they’ve all been waiting for - the effect might be more so on unmotivated liberal voters unenthusiastic about Hillary. Trump gets exposed saying this vile word, and Democrats may show up in force to keep this wretch away from the Oval Office.
Yes Trump has a % of hardcore supporters that will never change their stance regardless but that’s true of both candidates. Look no further than the pussy tapes as evidence, it really hurt him with women.
If you honestly believe he can get away with saying a racial slur aloud (with the use aimed at insulting someone) without consequence, you must believe Trump supporters are morally deformed by and large and I respond with a simple ‘go fuck yourself’

Once you get past his Bravado and Bluster…the “platform” he has briefly presented is in line with GOP thinking…and I think that they will most likely agree with his SCOTUS nominations.
