Your definition of success is very different from mine. Bill Clinton built himself a ton of wealth as well and came from much more meager beginnings than Trump. Obama will be very wealthy himself in a few years. He certainly had many left-wing mentors helping, but going from state senator to president in just 11 years is awfully impressive.
I acknowledge the career success, but not for the actual business ventures. Trump built a brand around his name to sell just that. He’s Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson before reality tv. You have to separate his actual business ventures from his licensing deals. His licensing business has proven quite successful, his other ventures not so much as was pointed out to you previously. His arrogance in this election cycle has likely greatly diminished the value of his licensing deals.
I don’t want to defend Trump, but those are bad examples. Clinton and Obama have never done anything but work for government. Being a wealthy public servant should not be considered successful. If you view their success from a policy standpoint that’s different. But amassing wealth from government, or worse “pay to play,” is despicable.
So they don’t deserve any credit for achieving the highest office in land without inheriting any of those positions, or even getting a leg up from their fathers? Clinton’s dad died before he was born. Obama’s was a drunk and absent almost his entire life. I said nothing of business success, only that they became wealthy and achieved the epitome of their chosen field without any head start at all.
Who do you think these ‘most primary votes for GOP ever’ are? I assumed it was centrists who typically voted Democrat. It’s not like the GOP traditional base (WASP) is growing.
Oh, I’m sure there were plenty in the primaries that crossed over to give the dems an easy path to victory. My point here is that if I was a democrat, I’d be questioning if I really wanted Hillary to win this year, knowing that she is likely to suffer an abysmally low approval rating for her entire presidency and give the GOP big wins in 2018 and 2020.
If you want to give them credit for the achievement of becoming president, I said go right ahead. You lauded their wealth however as if they earned it and Trump didn’t.
Hillary much more so than Trump, for reasons which Trump conceded (Trump effusively acknowledged she is a fighter at the last debate).
Trump loses by default by being the most thin-skinned, insecure public man in recent history. No confident man is so subject to and controlled by such irrational hysteria.
You’re right about Trump, he does come off like a whiny little bitch. He really can’t take a shred of criticism even in the slightest. But never have I seen anyone carried by so many people than Hillary Clinton. Never have I seen someone so coddled, sheltered, and protected.
One of the Wikileaks had a conversation within the Clinton campaign discussing when Hillary should smile. If you need to be told when to smile, you are robotic like a mother fucker.
You mean like middle school girls like dumbass bullying idiots because “they’re confident” and naive young women get involved with abusive boyfriends because they’re “confident”??
