The Next President of the United States: IV

I doubt the “closet” Trump supporters are going to cover the poll gap and the “closet” Hillary supporters.

Probably not, Sloth.

But the prospect gives me pause at predicting this election’s outcome.

Yeah same thing as closet.

I’m not a fan of closet due to its connotation with homosexual haha

So you came up with 10 out of hundreds?

By your list, if trump attempted 100 business ventures, he’s batting 90%.

I personally do not know how many companies Trump has successfully started and or runs. But I’d bet it’s over a hundred.

I’ve been watching clinton fuck up for well over three decades, however.

LOL.

Sorry guys, I don’t the time to compile a comprehensive list of Trump business failings.

That took two minutes to compile from the ones I knew off the top of my head and Google.

It’s hilarious to see “he’s succeeded at practically everything he’s ever done in life” to describe Trump, but then see the goalposts moved like this. Maybe you guys have a different definition of “practically everything” than I do, though.

What are you worried about not getting done?

What you are doing is taking something said and reframing it as an absolute so you can refute it. Sophistry.

Example :
If someone says “Kobe Bryant has been playing basketball his whole life,” are you going to respond with

“wrong! He didn’t start playing basketball until age 3!”

Making America Great Again, of course…what else?

Happened to me in the early 2000s. My Dad traveled a lot for business and I was using his frequent flier number, so I ended up at the top of some list.

I suspect it happens less now since it appears airlines have decided to simply “auction” those seats. Someone is always willing to pay for an upgrade, so why would they give it away for free?

Hillary Clinton presidency will mean a war with Russia

Jill Stein? Really?

Here’s Jill Stein sitting at the same table with Vladimir and his closest confidants, including his Chief of Staff. Oh, there’s another guy from the US at the table - why, it’s Trump’s military advisor Michael Flynn! My, my, what a coincidence!

http://americablog.com/2016/08/jill-stein-moscow-criticized-us-human-rights-said-nothing-russian-human-rights.html

She came to Moscow to discuss US human rights abuses (in Moscow, oh the irony) and just happened to end up at Putin’s table with the most powerful men of the regime, right?

As far as Wikileaks go, even mainstream media that have previously cooperated with them are coming to the fact that they’re run by the Russians, specifically an avowed Holocaust denier and antisemite Israel Shamir (brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “self hating Jew”).

And the theory about “Hillary wanting to wage war on Russia” that spread like wildfire through Russian media circles and became the gospel vis-a-vis the US elections comes from a guy who claims to have telepathically read her mind through a photograph.

Most of the ventures he is a part of are just other company’s using the Trump name (brand) and paying him royalties for it. I would certainly count that as success on his part, but there’s a distinction. As far as actual ventures that he has managed, he has been less successful.

At any rate, we’ve had this conversation a number of time now and I think the vast majority of posters will agree that he has been moderately successful given where he began. Trump’s greatest achievement has been his ability to turn his family name into a brand.

USMC is correct, most of his companies (like Trump Air or whatever his private jet timeshare it called and Trump water) are licensing deals.

And the vast majority of his 500+ companies are LLCs and holding companies. The shuttle that takes people from his hotel to the airport is it’s own LLC, etc.

It’s done to protect his assets in case of a lawsuit so the other assets can’t be touched. But it’s disingenuous to say each one is a standalone venture.

I brought up Jill Stein to bring to the attention of Stein supporters reading this thread that their candidate has endorsed Trump. The other stuff you brought up about her I don’t know enough about to comment.

As for wikileaks, Trump has stated he doesn’t use email for the specific reason it is too hackable. That’s probably why he hasn’t been hacked. Also whoever carried out the attack for whatever reason, is anyone denying the authenticity of the leaked emails? Aren’t you glad the American people have been exposed to the level of corruption of the Democrats? I’m sure Bernie Sanders supporters would agree with me.

Lastly, unless you think the Russian people have information about Trump that American people do not, what does it matter who they personally support?

Sure, but keeping a companies afloat for decades while employing thousands of people is a major sign of success.

By the way here’s how I imagine an RNC email hack would look like:

“How do we stop Trump?”

“Let’s do X to undermine Trump”

“Here’s a way we can rig the caucuses against Trump”

“Let’s leak this about Trump. Get Podesta on the phone”

I was initially supportive of both Wikileaks and Snowden revelations.

However, now it’s obvious that they’re merely an extension of the FSB. Wikileaks “revelations” are coordinated down to the minute with Russian pro-Trump propaganda. Some e-mails allegedly appeared on RT before Wikileaks published them.

Also, they have repeatedly submitted only pathetic excuses for not publishing anything negative about Trump or Russia for that matter.

Putin believes international relations are a zero sum game. If he believes that Trump is advantageous to Russian interests, it must mean that he is detrimental to US interests. Understand?

As you and SMH have rightfully pointed out, both Jill Stein and Trump are naive propagators of revanchist Russian agitprop.

Literally no one, and she is a nescient fool.
