The Next President of the United States: III

I don’t like Roosevelt all that much.

No doubt the man was a political genius, but many people give him far too much credit.

Fine. I concede defeat. You’re right.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it was a “distinct minority”, since this depended greatly in which colony and which stage of the war you talk about, but I wrote too broadly.

Did you miss the part where I wrote that I don’t like her one bit?

Or are you saying that if I don’t hate her as much as Zeb does, then I must like her enough to be ignorant about a certain aspect of her life?

Come on Push, bombings in WWII and specifically targeting a terrorist’s family are two entirely different things.

You could swap Trump with HRC and you’d sound like every liberal on the planet. Just sayin.

There are many legitimate concerns regarding a Trump Presidency. I for one am more critical of Trump on here because the Republican nominee was supposed to be my guy/girl and I’m not going to keep quiet and fall in line because Trump is supposedly a conservative or even a Republican.

I don’t support a guy that thinks POW’s are losers.

I don’t support a guy that thinks he will get the U.S. military to break the law because he says so.

I don’t support a guy that doesn’t know what the Nuclear Triad is.

I don’t support a guy that thinks the media (in effect the 1st) should be silenced via libel laws.

I don’t support a guy that thinks we, with Bill Gates help, can just shut the internet off (the pesky 1st again - yes I understand we disagree about what he meant. Agree to disagree).

I don’t support a guy that thinks we can just slap some tariffs on China and all of a sudden manufacturing will be back in the U.S.

I don’t support a guy that thinks single-payer is a good idea or that conservatives are about leaving people on the street to die.

I don’t support a guy that spends his free time bashing people he doesn’t like on Twitter trying to drive their ratings down (stifling the 1st, again).

I don’t support a guy that thinks eminent domain is great.

I don’t support a guy that thinks his best national security advisor is himself.

I don’t support a guy that keeps saying he’ll release his tax return, but doesn’t.

I don’t support a guy that is a birther (Obama, Cruz, and Rubio).

I don’t support a guy that thinks GWB lied to get us into Iraq (I just happened to catch Bernard Goldberg absolutely skewer him on this point last week on O’Reilly).

I don’t support the textbook definition of a crony capitalist.

If/when he becomes President I hope he’s the greatest President since his favorite Abe Lincoln, but literally every single thing points to the contrary.

*This is not an endorsement of Clinton, Bernie, Bam, Reid, Pelosi, Ginsburg, Kagan, Sotomayer, Wasserman Schultz, etc., etc.

Who was in office when we did that to Qaddafi?
I’m in a hurry and drawing a blank.

Or was that Milosovich?

Or both?

The number of times we’ve done that gets confusing.

Yes, and he should know that. The Nazis - yes, Nazis - claim the Dresden bombing is unfair targeting of civilians and of course Push believes the narrative for one, simple reason - the criticism is leveled at a Democrat, the hated FDR.

Strategic bombing of a city in WWII is not in the same universe as deliberately hunting down families of terrorists.

When we did what to Gaddafi / Milošević?

Clinton & Obama were in office.

Just wonderful:

Reagan bombed Gaddafi in response to the bombing of a German Nightclub by a Libia-support terrorist group.

I can’t say I know much about this event. I was born 8 days later…

Well, Trump is a loud mouth who is a relentless self promoter and times a buffoon. But certainly no Hitler or Stalin. And for that matter neither is Hillary so let’s keep this in perspective.

Hillary = criminal for certain. The degree of her crimes is still at least partially unknown. So if I want her to win I have three ways to do it. I can either vote for her outright, or (and this is what some hate to read but nonetheless true) I can vote for a third party candidate who will most definitely not win. And then of course I can stay home. The last two most definitely leave the choice for President of the United States in the hands of other people. And either the republican nominee or the democratic nominee will win–pretty simple.

As for Trump, he does not reach the criminal level. In fact, regardless of whether you think he is fit for that particular office, he has done business for some 40 or so years and has never, to my knowledge, had a brush with the law.

We are simply using a popular term “the lesser of two evils when describing our choice this year.”

There were choices that Hillary could have made. She chose to ignore the situation when in fact there were bombers only minutes away. Troops could also have been called in. Instead she chose to ignore the pleas for help allow the Ambassador and a few brave fighting troops to die. Then lie about the entire affair the next day claiming a video was the cause when she absolutely knew that to be a lie.

But as she said under questioning “what difference does it make now?”

That’s someone I don’t want to be President and in fact she should be in jail. And I still have hopes that she will at least be indicted.

Keep defending her though your left wing Professors will be so proud.

. Regardless of your feelings toward the president, he is empirically the most effective terrorist hunter in the history of the presidency[/quote]

Ha ha ha ha ha …you didn’t have much credibility after your plagiarism incident a few months back. But any credibility that you still had is certainly now gone. “Obama the brave terrorist hunter” LMAO!!

Not according to then SecDef Leon Panetta, do you have a better source?

She’s a piece of shit liar, but this line of reasoning is just false.
