Dsmolken - I’m unsure why you keep using T-Nation to get publicity for this crappy band you have created. Furthermore, I would not call this a musical trend, I’d call it musical garbage that no one else is following.

LOL, despite your attempts I think I know a few acclaimed indie bands that are less tuneful than that. I think you should modify your goals a bit, and actually try to act like you’re making a grand artistic statement and see if you can garner some recognition that way. Just imagine if people fell for it.
PS the women looked nice :D.
I think is sounded better than the Beatles or Elvis.

Heh, in all honesty I’m just trying to learn to work in a new style of music, and there’s no point in trying to be all serious about it right away. Might as well make somewhat silly music for the first few months, right?
I’ve done the pretentious and completely tuneless thing about ten years ago, even made a couple thousand bucks on CD-R releases. It’s surprisingly unsatisfying, though. These days I mostly stick to playing bass in cover bands, that suits my personality much better.

I’ll second that it’s better than Nickleback, whom I just discovered are ‘band of the decade,’ according to Billboard. Sigh.
Nickleback’s drummer is really good if you look up a guy named Dave Martone and see the trio he plays with on his dvd that’s the drummer… He does some really good soloing stuff
