I’ll take a look tomorrow. It doesn’t surprise me shes coming out of the woodworks - people voted “moderate democrat” biden in office and saw how that went. Tulsi is actually moderate, but not easy enough to manipulate for the democratic party to make primary.
EDIT: it amazes me that democrats would rather float hillary as their primary than tulsi. I thought the goal was to put forward candidates that are likeable, not terrifying
It makes me sick to my stomach to know it was possible to have Tulsi as president instead of biden, but because she didn’t tow the fake narrative of the DNC she was basically cast out like a leper. Now she’s moving into the loving arms of the right. Who could blame her. God forbid someone sound reasonable and not demand that everybody in the country is a racist.
I am utterly un-shocked. biden is toxic, Kamala is worse, Buttigeg is a laughing stock, Warren is the whitest person on earth to claim any Native American heritage, etc. Trotting hillary out now to sense the reception is a strategy, I guess. She still has the power in the DNC.
I just finished the speech - it’s definitely a good one. I hope she runs, IDC if she runs as a democrat or republican - I’m willing to vote for her over any other person in office with exception only to DeSantis. If those two could team up (when pigs fly, i know), it would be the perfect combination.
Agree. I agree with a lot of trumps policies but his personality is far too unbecoming and incindiary. We need someone that both sides can get behind, although i dont have much faith in the left being able to look across party lines.
Policy is all that matters to me. It’s what actually makes a difference. I gotta confess, I grew to like Trump over the course of his presidency. When I see what he actually says and does versus the media spin, a lot of it makes complete sense. He delivered a lot of things we conservatives have wanted for decades.
The things people criticize him the most are his jokes. He makes a joke or a sarcastic remark and the media quoted it as if he were serious and just made a policy declaration. His personality doesn’t bother me, I do wish he’d shut up sometimes, but nobody’s perfect.
That being said, I’d prefer DeSantis at this point. I really like him and he put his money where his mouth is. And I am sick of 70+ yr old leaders. We need someone who we don’t feel like he might die at any second. Plus, he’s a bit more tactful. What I don’t want, it Trump and DeSantis to go at each other during primary season.
But hey, it’s early yet. We don’t know who and what is coming out of the wood work. The DNC is retreading hillary, while they look for the next obama.
Too early to speculate. The people on the ballot may actually not be people we have yet heard of. After the 22 election, we shall see it come into clearer focus. One thing is pretty certain, biden is not running, unless Satan himself pulls out a miracle for him. Which is possible. I fear the power of stupidity.
