listen to holst’s mars suite, and try and claim that aint masculine
The best part about James Blunt isn’t that his music’s for pussies (which he’s generally quite up front with in everything I’ve seen about him), but the fact that he’s pretty well more manly than you or anyone else you know.

that was quite interesting, i bet he decided to sing that kind of music to make shit loads of money, goes home and listens to mettalica

I’ll concede that is a masculine piece, and if your into that type of music it is probably very moving.
It still doesn’t make me want to kill something like stranglehold does though.
Both types of music have some very masculine music made by very feminine men. Powdered wigs and lace don’t exude masculinity any more than does the look of Edgar Winter, but I don’t think you could call “Frankenstein” feminine.
Rykker, trance is not industrial. Paul Joakenfold is a good example of trance. Trance is constant builds that never really get anywhere. It’s real girly music. Here is an example.

Most modern music is emasculate and rock music is some of the worst. “Sex, drugs, and rock and roll” just implies no self discipline, organizational skills, leadership, or other masculine traits. It’s hedonism for those who can’t control their impulses, people run by emotion. Emasculate indeed.
Outside of a few great metal bands (lifting music), it’s really best to stick with classical music.
The basic fact is yes, there’s a lot of cunty music out there. Some of it is good in it’s own way, but most of it, like the dude that mentioned “Hinder” or any of those other bitch bands like Dashboard Confessional or Better Than Ezra, is garbage.
That’s why I’ve been listening to predominantly rap and hip hop lately… it’s the only shit that’s angry anymore, but even the slow stuff has soul.
If you want a great lifting song, throw this one on your ipod, it always gets me amped up… Saigon is running shit now… - YouTube

If is if the chick in question has an adam’s apple the size of her man hating balls…
Queens of the Stone Age comes to mind for some masculine rock … $.02

Ani sure does stir up sentiments.
Go girl!

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has declared Cunty it’s own specific genre, and Awards will be presented at next year’s Grammys.
I don’t think there’s a clearly defined line between Emasculate and not. I listen to everything from Opera to Grindcore/Death Metal, so where does that put me? Only music i dont really listen to is most rap, almost all country, and some hip hop.
If you ever hear Snow patrol on the radio, please turn it off as fast as possible. If you don’t, there is a severe risk that you develop the Ghey Syndrome.

It’s gonna be a long show, but at least Kanye won’t have anything to cry about, seeing as he’ll be getting ten awards.

“fucking rock” “get pussy” “but I like emasculate music”
Give me a break. Just because music is outwardly heavy doesn’t make it masculine if it’s absolutely brain-dead. Pantera immediately comes to mind as being macho, not masculine. Masculine music takes intelligence to process, and any music designed to get men and women together (get pussy!) inherently has to make compromises in quality.
My ultimate proof is, just observe that many women and wimps have made some nice rockin’ tunes, but who has ever heard a great symphony written by either a woman or a girly man?
If I hear a song that makes me want to immediately slam a beer and a shot, deadlift 600 lbs, and slap a stripper on the ass - all in the same minute - then it is masculine, and it rocks my face off. I could give a fuck if the person writing the song is Henry Rollins or Clint Mansell. The source is unimportant; only the result matters.
This song is the equivalent of a guy holding a flame thrower while smokeing a cigar and banging a stripper all at the same time.
Hard fucking core!
I’ve been Rick Rolled!
Never gonna make you cry…
Whaaaa!!
Damn Rick Asley … That song is GAY … whenever my ex put that song on the radio it meant that it was time to go … I don’t know if that’s what she meant by it, but that’s always what happened … that song is fuckin GAY … the video: Fuckin GAY … Rick Asley = Fuckin GAY
I do not know if this will get people to flame me, but I like listening to some hardcore techno and trance. (yes it is actually called hardcore and it is a genre. I am from Europe and it is pretty big there). Its always better if there is little to no words.
