The Most Accurate Personality Test Ever...

Yeah, taking a psych class too, there is like only one test, I forgot the name (good thing I didn’t get tested on it ha), that is actually an accurate test. That’s because it grades on like 12 different dimensions or something and has built in questions to see if people aren’t being honest with their answers.

You can’t get it anywhere online, this is for serious shit. Like FBI shit. For realz.[/quote]

Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) ? That’s popular in psych classes.

No, definitely MMPI-2 (minnesota multiphasic personality inventory). Great test in the right hands, but a little overrated in it’s use, and it’s not an instrument for getting the absolute truth. We use it a lot for psychodiagnostic research, but never as a stand alone instrument.

MBTI is crap, at least for clinical purposes that is. It’s an old test that never was evaluated on it’s validity or reliability by it’s developers.

The color test is your typical internet-test. If you do it a couple of times, you’ll see the exact same vague sentences full of things everyone can recognize himself in, just in another order.

With interpretations of personality-tests the key is knowing that you’re likely to see what you want to see (self-confirmation, one of human’s most typical trait).

There’s much more knowledge in knowing what’s wrong than in searching for what could be right.

I know these quizzes are kind of bullshit and tend to be vague just so they seem convincing to you, but it did describe close to what I was feeling at this point in time. I’d be curious to see how much it was affected by mood and such - normally i’m a pretty chipper person and would not feel that these results would apply to me. But the past few days i’ve been in a shitty mood so this describes me pretty accurately now.

No one is actually taking this seriously, are they? (as an aside, according to the interwebs my IQ is 180)

Oh, I don’t remember the site it was a while ago. But for only $19.95 they were willing to be so kind as to send me a certificate proving my high intelligence

Haha. Damn it. I want a certificate.

I remember scoring 5 on one then scoring 214. Clearly, I “chose” the latter.

““Is stubborn, demanding, and arrogant, works toward his own goals and purposes. Has little regard for others and is unwilling to compromise or negotiate.””

“Tries to hold back his normal enthusiastic and imaginative self in fear that he may get carried away by it and chase after unrealistic goals. Feels betrayed and used and is staying emotionally distant to keep others from hurting him more. His is distrusting and suspicious of the actions and intentions of other people.”

“Feels he is getting less than he deserves for all his hard work; however, he makes no effort to change things and tries to make the best of the situation.”

Feels unhappy and isolated because he is unable to succeed in finding the cooperation and understanding he desires.

“Insists his hopes and ideas are realistic and achievable, but needs encouragement and support. His self-centeredness can cause him to take things too personally.”

Is satisfied and finds contentment through sexual activity."

“Strongly resists any limits given him or disputes directed toward him. Stubborn, close-minded, and is hard to change his mind once it is made up. Uses his stubbornness as a way to prove he is independence and in control of the situation.”

"His personality is such that he analyzes and examines everything with harsh judgment, which is viewed as an attitude of harsh criticism and disapproval. Fails to take into consideration all the facts when making his judgments. "

It’s mostly true. Guess I have a couple of complexes, haha.

“Finds satisfaction in sexual activity”

Everytime I take the test, that statement right there is always, ALWAYS there. Whenever my mood changes, the results of the tests changes too… but that statement is always there…

Ironically (and sadly?) I don’t even have a fuck partner.
