I don’t see how me just randomly clicking on colors would be able to tell me anything.
this one is pretty accurate too

its not eerie, its vague
and out of the 10 very vague things stated at least one will stick.
take a psych class, youll learn that theres TONS of different factors that make up someone’s personality. if you get very deep into the subject it becomes very complex its a combination of genetics and enviorment, to assume you can figure someone out accurately based off what order they pick colors, its a slap in the face to the entire human species just by assuming we’re that easy to figure out.
it doesnt even say “aggressive, depressive, easygoing, narciscistic” - you know things that are albeit vague but more credible to measure than something as complex as the detaile responses spewed out.
if anything, by sheer irony, this test can reveal the naivity lack of logic in a person and also for lack of a “need” for lack of a better word.

Yeah, taking a psych class too, there is like only one test, I forgot the name (good thing I didn’t get tested on it ha), that is actually an accurate test. That’s because it grades on like 12 different dimensions or something and has built in questions to see if people aren’t being honest with their answers.
You can’t get it anywhere online, this is for serious shit. Like FBI shit. For realz.

The MMPI
"Insecure with himself, needs stable roots and emotional security. Seeking an environment which provides comfort and few problems.
"Not a team player and is unwilling to be involved in most activities. In the past he was over involved and now emotionally drained. Due to his fear of over involvement, he now chooses to remain uninvolved with the activities around him. "
“Emotionally withdrawn, feels forced to make compromises which makes emotional attachments difficult.”
"Current situations force him into compromise and placing his own hopes and desires on hold for the time being.
His arrogance causes him to take offense quickly. Only those closest to him know deep down he is sensitive and sentimental.
Applies tough standards to his potential partner and demands an unrealistic perfection in his sex life.
Current situations force him into compromise and placing his own hopes and desires on hold for the time being."
"Highly optimistic and outgoing personality. Loves to learn new and exciting things, and craves new interests. Looking for a well-rounded life full of success and new experiences. Does not allow himself to be overcome with negative thoughts or self-doubt. Takes life head on, with enthusiasm. "
“Is afraid he will be held back from obtaining the things he wants leading him to act out with a hectic intensity.”
Most of these desires apply to everyone. Like: “Desires a conflict-free environment which offers security and physical safety. Looking for love, kindness, and understanding. Fears loneliness and the heartache of separation and rejection.”
…Isn’t that called being a human?
I got this one after actually taking it:
“Needs to find a stable and peaceful environment which will free him of the worries that are preventing him from achieving the things he wants.”
So fucking true right now though. Next semester= goodbye dorm, hello apartment.
Anyway…
I was going to laugh at this, but then…
“Seeking to broaden her horizons and believes her hopes and dreams are realistic. Worries she may not be able to do the things she wants and needs to escape to a peaceful, quiet environment in order to restore her confidence.”<<Wow. This was the most accurate assessment or part of an assessment I’ve seen to date.
“Insists her hopes and ideas are realistic and achievable, but needs encouragement and support. her self-centeredness can cause her to take things too personally.”<<yep
Open and emotionally involved in relationships and easily finds satisfaction through sexual activity.<< This get’s repeated a lot…
Is extremely determined to make her presence known as an important part of any team. she is flexible and able to do what is necessary to stand out from the crowd. Is willing to overcome any conflicts and difficulties that may stand in her way.<<<Holy shit on a potato!
Is extremely determined to make her presence known as an important part of any team. she is flexible and able to do what is necessary to stand out from the crowd. Is willing to overcome any conflicts and difficulties that may stand in her way.<<Christ on a cracker!

Now this is deserving of some school girl pictures!
these tests are only good for finding out how much people want to believe what they are told.
“Inclined to choose luxurious things, which are gratifying to the senses. Turned off by things which are tacky and tasteless.”
that’s one of the things i got for myself. Notice how vague it is and doesn’t mention any of the characteristics usually mentioned by Cattell’s or Eysenck’s personality tests? No degrees of extraversion, no defined levels of neuroticism… just blanket statements with ‘sciency’ words.
Who here does not want ‘luxurious things’, or isn’t d’turned off by things which are tacky and tasteless’.
This is a typical low quality internet ‘personality test’ with randomly chosen paragraphs of information that can be
applied to nearly anyone.
“Feels empty and isolated from others and wishes to overcome this feeling. Believes life has more to offer him than what he was experienced thus far, and doesn’t want to miss out on anything. He purses all his goals and dreams, fearful that any missed opportunity will cause him to miss out on even more. Quickly becomes an expert in any field he pursues and can sometimes come off as overbearing and nosy.”
When most people read something like taht… you immediately start attempting to associate yourself with the text… finding moments in your life when you have done the above… it’s almost a psyckological defence. everyone wants to believe they are ‘pursuing all their goals and dreams’. that however doesn’t tell me my individual levels of Openness to Experiences… or Conscientiousness. No doubt someone else who picked the colours in the similar order as i did has gotten the exact same paragraph no matter if they have extremely differing levels of Conscientiousness (or perhaps the colours don’t matter at alll… it could very well be entirely randomly generated).
“Strives for full life which includes activities and experiences, as well as, a close relationship offering sexual and emotional satisfaction.”
Wow. Can it possibly be any more vague than this??
Holy shit. This thing was 100% accurate. No shitting.
I got pretty much the polar opposite of my personality.
Wow. That was pretty darn accurate. Scary.
It’s not a personality test even though it claims so. I think it tries to reflect your current state of mind. And seems to do a pretty good job, actually.
They didn’t have lime green.
rorschach for the win!! lol

That is what it is supposed to do.
You don’t pick your favorite colors, you pick the colors in order that make you feel good (look best, tickle your pickle…whatever) right now.
