The Left Using Homophobic Remarks?

They call Breitbart a homo, using the word homosexual as if it is something wrong. Why does the left slander gay people?

Clearly if an action of an alleged tea party member anywhere is enough to have the left call everyone in the movement a racist the same must hold true to them.

The second video has them spitting on him. Tolerant my ass.

He is clearly inciting the crowd. He is an ass as well . What he did to Shirley Sherod was unconscionable .

Good video John. For a long time the left has tried to give the impression that they were tolerant. But in reality the politically correct left wants to silence everyone who does not agree with them. That is at least part of being PC, they don’t want you to say certain words or think certain thoughts. It’s about censorship pure and simple. If you have a differing view, and it makes total sense to people, you are deemed as dangerous and from that point on they rationalize whatever means possible to silence you.

Clearly if someone acknowledges that some people from the left have made the mistake of generalizing the tea party as racists, only an idiot would make the same mistake by returning the favor.

Look, the question of “why does one group always do this” is never a good one. It inevitably leads to overgeneralization. If there is one truth in this world, it is that all human beings are capable of being racists, murderers, or hypocrites given the proper circumstances. You are not excluded, I have read your comments about “nutjob liberal treehuggers” and “lazy hippies”. Give me a break.

And because I know some of you will get your panties in a bunch, I do condemn anti homosexual remarks as well as racism. I agree that Breitbart was treated poorly, but I will not paint a group with such broad brush strokes as the OP has done.

I think this was exactly the OPs point. Grant it he used sarcasm to make it.

I see your sarcasm detector is broken.

This shows how desperate the Left is getting, they see their party crumbling before their very eyes and the Chosen One cannot help them. More and more people are not liking O’Bummer, Reid, and Pelosi. Reid is in such deep shit in his state, he has attached a back door amnesty to the Defense Bill, how fucked up is that !!!

Those seeking acceptance and understanding are usually the last to display it themselves.

I wonder why the liberals on this board are not defending this sort of thing?

Because only minority groups are allowed to be racist, sexist, xenophobic, etc.

When a minority shouts a slur, it’s activism. When whitey does it, he is a Klansman.

because we dont feel like pissing in the wind arguing with a bunch of people whose minds we wont change.

I just have this to say. Individuals will let their passions get the better of them and make mistakes and try and shout people down and such. Overall, where the rubber meets the road – policy and legislation – democrats are trying to represent homosexuals and conservatives seem to want to keep them marginalized.

And that’s why I vote republican and will continue to as long as they try to hold the line.

The left, the right, the left, the right, the left, the right… blah blah fucking blah.

God this shit is annoying. I fucking hate politics, why am I even here.

terrific!

Sorry buddy, I know you have grown up in a time where moral relativism reigned supreme, but I still think that there is a such thing as right and wrong. And if you look at many of our economic woes they can be traced back to a moral problem. Greed produced direct economic failure. Lust helps create HIV, teen pregnancy and broken marriages. In some cases even unemployment/welfare has more to do with failure to act and think properly than it does about what’s going on in Washington. Each of these things not only tears at the moral fabric of our country, but also have economic consequences.

It all begins with a good moral base. Knowing that some things are wrong, inherently and then actually trying to avoid doing them. And that’s something that has been rooted out of many 20 somethings. That you’re so amazed at my previous post is just one more sign of how far we’ve fallen. Lest you think John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter when serving as President would have been in favor of homosexuals being married, or serving openly in the military - think again!

I can’t imagine what this country would be like if the far left continued in power. These past two years have been catastrophic. Thank God it’s over in a matter of weeks. Naturally this doesn’t stop liberal universities from spreading their brand of moral relativism, as they increasingly have over the past 40-50 years, but at least a change of government will prevent this sewage from becoming the law of the land.

I don’t blame you, it’s always easier to try to be funny than to actually refute a point. My only complaint, the next time actually be funny.

I cant refute it. You’re entitled to your view of morality. I’m entitled to believe its bigoted. And to mock you. Im getting the hang of these T-Nation forums.

There you go, now you’ve got it.

“Like um, it’s okay if you think it’s okay dude…” Yea I get it. Moral relativism rears its ugly head once again.

Apparently you’re not getting the hang of it. If you were you would try to present some sort of defense (however feeble it may be) to bolster your argument. Just calling something bigoted and then running away is not a good defense, you know that though right? As I said previously, short of mounting a good argument at least be clever, you’ve done neither.
