If you a punch an unsuspecting person for no reason you deserve everything that happens to you. You do negative things negativity will find you. I have seen that t first hand with hoodrats around these parts, karma is a bitch.

Wow dude first response in the thread and you hit it on the head. Both in being correct, and actually predicting what would happen. I try and tell my girl that they need to legalize carry in DC but she says it’s stupid. I’ve been showing her these videos of people, including women, getting assaulted so hopefully she sees the light soon.
Bunch of nonsense. None of you who is advocating shooting someone on sight for committing a crime like this would actually do it so why even say it? If you actually think this way then you should leave this country because it goes against one of the most important features of our justice system.
I’m not talking about shooting in self-defense or defense of another but shooting someone after the fact.
You seem so sure that your sense of justice is the right one.
Even if it is in self defense or defense of another person, how is it not after the fact? Can defense only be done in the moment of the attack, or should it be preemptive?
How about in attacks like these, where they only last a split second? The one that happened here was in the blink of an eye. If they are randomly targeting strangers and you are a stranger, what is to say you are not next? The attacker? Why should the choice of whether or not you are safe be left up to the person who puts you in danger?
Come on there, supreme court justice Zecarlo, lay down the law for us.

I would answer but I don’t really see a coherent question. I’ll just refer you to the law regarding self-defense.
A 72 yr old woman may have been the next victim of the knockout game.
Mira Harpazi, 72, was walking near her home at the Starret City housing complex in Brooklyn when a man in his 20s punched her in the face. She joined another elderly woman, 78, who had also been assaulted in a previous attack.
Because the police have been ineffective at protecting the Jewish community in the area, the Guardian Angels took to the streets in Brooklyn on Tuesday to do so. The Angels issued a press release saying they would ?focus on protecting the elderly Jews in that area, who are subject to copycat attacks.?

love how they never punch anyone that is capable of punching them back. bunch of fucking pussies.
It is sad that teenagers have nothing better to do. They make it hard for people to get passed stereotypes. They should use their anger in more productive ways. I would rather see them knocked each other out in a boxing ring.
Been reading these forums for a while. There’s one thread that says the Knockout game is overblown, and there’s this one. So I’ll post this on here

Man I don’t care if it’s considered overblown. I know it’s a problem in the community I live in and that’s why I posted this thread. It starting getting a lot more media coverage shortly after.
And it’s more than the knockout game. It’s this damn phenomena of teenagers forming marauding bands and causing havoc just because they’re bored. I’ve been seeing it for awhile now and it’s not just in my imagination.
I don’t know what the solution is. I don’t know how you can teach a large portion of the population how to act in civil society. I don’t know how you can encourage teens to ease their boredom with constructive activities. These kids have been failed by their parents, obviously. And they’re actions affect the rest of us.
Maybe the videos and articles of people fighting back will help. Acting like a barbarian should be ridiculed and not encouraged and it’s been encouraged for too long. There needs to be a way where these types of actions cause real shame and embarrassment among peers.
Even Al Sharpton is trying to dissuade these kids from their actions. I’m sure he’s doing it for his own notoriety, but I’m happy he’s saying something. He’s someone I would have expected to blame the victims so it’s good to see he’s trying to get the message out that this shit is not cool.

I’ve been reading that in NYC many Jews are being targeted. I know in DC it’s just whoever looks white. I’m not trying to be an ass here, but how can these teens even distinguish a Jew from another white person. Especially since many of these attacks are during night time.
Like are they only attacking orthdox Jews that are dressed in a way that marks them as Jews? Because if it’s just any ole Jew in business casual I doubt these punks can even make the distinction. I think it’s more of a “attack the white guy who is pricing me out of my neighborhood” thing. I could be wrong though, so interested in hearing other opinions.

Have you ever watched The Wire? A dude who was former muscle in a drug gang loses his criminal drive after prison. His big thing is starting up a boxing gym and getting as many corner kids as possible boxing. The idea worked so/so in the show but one of the few times the show wasn’t utterly pessimistic.
But these attacks seem to be happening in mixed neighborhoods and not in straight-up ghettos. I bet many of these punks don’t even have it too bad. Otherwise they’d be dealing drugs or robbing the people they’re assaulting. They’re bored teens that need to be shamed when they act like animals. And that shame needs to come from their peers because I doubt they give a fuck about what anyone else thinks.

I wasn’t talking about shooting someone after the fact so there’s no real disagreement between us. What I am cool with, is something like this: Marvell Weaver, Teen Playing 'Knockout' With Stun Gun, Shot Twice By Victim | HuffPost Latest News
I have no problem with what that man did and I think what he did helps to deter other would-be punks.
interesting, clearly this dude is a scum bag but a hate crime interesting

well the guy was clearly a racist… according to the article, he used racial slurs and disparaged blacks in other videos… he should spend years in prison IMO. he could have killed the guy
it is kinda funny however… how they only prosecute the one white guy who played the “black game”

The police report gives a very vague description of the suspects. Only that it was a group of African-American men.
Police say at least four people were assaulted in three separate attacks. One occurred at 16th Street and Blake Street and two between Larimer and Market streets on 20th.
Lloyd was waiting for a ride with a friend when he was knocked to the ground. So my lower jaw is broken on both sides…my whole cheek is pushed in.
He will now need metal plates to reconstruct his face.

Ask Charlie Strong, that’s what he referred to himself as the first ever to be a head coach at Texas.
I hope he kicks ass.

Woman Sucker Punched In “Possible” Knockout Game Attack In Upscale Los Gatos
…too many witnessed and videod attacks on whites by blacks so the media has had to change it’s former policy of not mentioning race when describing suspects.
what’s funny is most media still say “possible” when they describe KNOCKOUT Game.
Police describe the suspect as an African-American adult in his early-to-mid 20s, standing 5’9" to 6’ tall with slender build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball cap backwards.
