The Israel / Hamas Conflict

No. I thought @cyclonengineer would appreciate the thrust of the motor I used to lift my 95lb rocket. I remembered that I used a full M motor. To give you an idea what full M means: half of that amount of propellent would be a full L motor, but any more propellent would get my motor into the N category. And a full N would be twice as much propellent as a full M motor.

I remembered that my M was a Blue Thunder, so I just Googled: “full m motor blue thunder” and up came the specifications of a M2400 Blue Thunder.

There weren’t too many detailed numbers in my post, but you need to know that the requirement to get a Level III Certification is quite involved. I needed to send much paperwork to a Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) Member of the Tripoli Rocketry Association, that included things like a parts list, a graphical drawing showing the calculated center of pressure and center of gravity, a pre-launch check list, etc at least a month prior to the launch. So the parts and dimensions are pretty much imprinted in my brain.

Just for a little additional information, I didn’t have the ability to buy the propellent until I got to the launch site and purchased it from the TAP member who got that from a BATF certified vendor that was on site the day of the launch. So my measured center of gravity did not include the 23" of 7.77lbs of propellent that would be located at the bottom of the rocket. So my measured center of gravity would be behind the location when the propellent was added, so I needed it more forward, thus the insurance of a 5lb lead ingot in the middle of my 2ft long nose cone.

The event required FAA clearance for all flights. Airplanes were to avoid the area. For flights that exceeded 2,000ft, they had to call FAA for a clearance window.

Thats way better than the ones we used to get at the hobby shop!

They were fun though. :+1:

Once you hit the motors that need certs to fire and have to alert the FAA of your impending launch they get really fun.

Just get your conspiracies right.

 Oh. That’s why.

Let’s call a spade a spade -they’re the cockroaches of the ME.

The typical hypocrisy abounds though:

I agree.

She’s even either historically ignorant or willfully neglecting the fact that Her country had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, with the same people. Not that long ago! Its not ancient history. Its like, the 1950’s!

Its like- I’m Scottish and Irish and have genes that go back to nordic countries and there are even certain behavioral tendencies that are linked to these genes.

And Palestinians are genetically fucking assholes.

Yeah, to my understanding the Romans and Persian Empires had been fighting over Jerusalem recently before Umar received it. When the Romans won they killed and exiled Jews. It doesn’t mean all Jews from all over the world for the rest of forever

Received? If he was European you would have said conquered.

The Romans didn’t exile Jews until after having annexed Judea for many years. And it wasn’t all Jews. Jews have occupied what is known as Palestine continuously since the time of ancient Egypt.

Not really

The median age in Palestine is only nineteen

The degree effort that goes into systemically indoctrinating young Palestinians… ESPECIALLY gazans mediates an outcome that is very hard to break

I’ve been to the west bank, i’ve spoken to Palestinian students in high school… I don’t have a problem with Palestinians… I have a problem with the governments Palestinians have voted in.

Sephardic Jews and Arabs have a decent amount of genetic overlap

Palestinians are Arabs.

Good to see you again. Hope your doing ok.

Anyone who has experience in the subject knows that most young children are genetically fucking assholes. They have to be taught to care about people besides themselves.

Isn’t that attitude mostly environmentally responsible. All a baby sees is that he or she is the center of the universe. Everyone seems to be living solely for the benefit of the baby.

Good point. Some members of my mom’s family and friends were and are physically indistinguishable from other Middle Easterners. One close friend, Persian Jew, recently received her ancestry information and it showed her roots to be from Palestine. She has the color and phenotype of Arabs and looks no different from Arab woman.

Ashkenazi Jews are about half white/European, half Levantine.

These are interesting articles I read years ago.

Absolutely. Children are supposed to be selfish assholes. I have 3 and I love them dearly (although I do have expectations that the 13 year old not be an asshole anymore). Children are as they are suppose to be. Adults need to be as they are supposed to be.

Always knew there was something I liked about you man

Iran must really be stirring up the pot in the ME if the Saudis are willing to take a stand publicly:
