The Israel / Hamas Conflict

:face_in_clouds:   :face_with_monocle:

Your welcome. Are you referring to my actual answer, or my add on after which you’ve quoted here?

Not sure this qualifies as unhinged. I’d need to read a couple of his exchanges because there’s so much to unpack here. If I had to guess… he’s unhappy with American christians in the political context? Which is totally understandable as christianity seems so utterly chaotic and confused these days, precisely because it’s politically charged.
The orc stuff is doubly interesting, because while I’ll agree it would qualify as ‘unhinged speech’ to a t., it had been legitimised by the mainstream.
Again, it’s gotten to a point where people can’t talk normally about unfolding events which are objectively not hard to frame.

Thing is, us meatbags are anything but logical. Even worse, you can easily feign reason to game the system.
Here, the most vile stuff is being framed as rational (israel bombing hospitals and openly terrorising normal people) yet there is little opposition in the mainstream press.

Either one. The simple refusal to answer the question is all the answer that is needed.

The question was neither fair nor unfair, are we 5 years old now? Given the forum, given the thread, given you chose to participate, it was a perfectly acceptable question.

I will be liking all unhinged posts.

Only it was Hamas that bombed the hospital and, the hospital wasn’t even bombed; it was the parking lot or something.

Normal people who you wouldn’t want to live among. People like you are disgusting hypocrites. You talk about freeing Palestine meanwhile you have had Hamas continuously launching rockets into Israel for years, and say nothing. You have these Palestinian people who you have so much compassion for living under the oppression of Hamas for years. You’ve (meaning all of us in the West) been sending them money and aid which ends up in the hands of the government there, i.e., Hamas, who uses it to fund their terrorism instead of helping the Palestinians it was intended for, and say nothing.

Now suddenly you all care about these poor innocent people. What changed?

You should log off and take a walk. You’ve told us more about your mental state than anybody ever should.

That does seem to be factual (what @zecarlo said). It was an accident while launching a rocket from the hospital IIRC. Hamas was the party launching the rocket.

Well for what its worth, I did wonder - what would a “yes” have even been interpreted to mean anyways?

I am not in communication with Hamas to influence their decisions.

I answered truthfully. What people may have read into a “yes” would likely have been more misleading than what I wrote.

In the classroom we hear the phrase, “In a perfect world.” But out in the real world is where we make application to the logic we learned in the classroom. We don’t often have the assurances that the premises are true. What do have is our available knowledge.

Does that mean that we cannot use logic to make a decision? Of course not!

I have made a life practice of making logical decisions based on my available knowledge.

Sounds like you agree with me on that

I did accept it, I handled a parameter with a non-bool, supposedly incorrect syntax, and you just didn’t accept the answer

If you were actually a computer it would be a different thing. Since I am assuming that you are human…

That is an insane thing to say (hello unhinged politics!). Hamas has no capacity to fire guided missiles. Besides, they are the ones fighting FOR freedom. Their own weapon systems are puny in comparison.
Israel went through a dozen lies to cover up and meanwhile the whole thing has been thoroughly debunked, down to the footage where you can even hear the characteristic whistling sound of the US manufactured guiding system.

Don’t believe your hyper zionist sources, especially something so counter intuitive and vile. “They hate us for our freedoms” was just lies. Don’t believe lies.
Truly mindboggling.

A statement made with no source provided…

Sounds credible and definitely not a lie either.
What other insane theories do you believe? Flat Earth? Vaccines cause autism? Moon landing faked?

My source was Al Jazeera. IDK, I don’t really see them as hyper zionist lol.

I said “rocket” BTW.

I don’t know what happened, but the source that you’ve cited does not seem to have reached your conclusion.

I don’t know either but it wouldn’t be the first time terrorists used attacks on civilians - even their own.
If that’s what happened
Could have also been a really poorly aimed weapon from Israel or Hamas could have been using that hospital as a staging area hiding behind the civilians there.

I can relate. Reminds me of someone I used to think I knew really well. It took a long time to realize that I didn’t. About 29.5 years - toward the end it started to feel like forever

I was trying to find the original source. I remember Al Jazeera reporting that it was a rocket misfire at the time. I may have found a later article which I posted.

As far as I can tell, the article doesn’t actually make a claim of what happened. I’ll see if I can find the article I meant to post.
