I think it depends on the circumstances. Is execution ever justified? To offer the option of new life at the edge of the time of justified execution, I would consider to be a guidance and a mercy.
Are you really sure? Absolutely never?
There is a reason zealots in movies doing this same thing you mention here under the guise of “guidance” and “mercy” are always the villain. It’s an archetype based in reality.
Thanks for proving my point though.
Personally I’ve not gotten your point yet, but you are welcome I guess.
Muhammad (saw) is not a zealot in a movie
Like I said before, I have no interest in lying. It crossed my mind to not share the extra information with you, but I thought/hoped you could handle it well
I can’t remember if you are Christian or not. I think you are
On one hand I would think it’s only natural for a Christian to compare Muhammad (saw) with Jesus (as), and at first find that obviously, there’s differences and according to a Christian value system, Jesus Christ (as) is a perfect match and everyone else isn’t
But I think on the other hand it’s all to common for Christians to then massively overshoot and mark each difference as a great crime
A few phrases come to mind, I don’t know where they come from … I might just be accidentally making them up
Judge not lest you be judged
As you measure, so shall you too be measured
As you judge, so shall you too be judged
And so I think Christians all too often fail when they research Muhammad (saw) because it’s like they are comfortably sniping evil Gazan fish in a barrel from a safe cozy distance. I could be wrong but I think the Christian thing to do would be to research Muhammad’s (saws) character as if you are the fish in the barrel and God (“the father”, so to speak) is the sniper
As you judge Muhammad (saw), so shall you too be judged
As you measure Muhammad (saw), so shall you too be measured
@RT_Nomad I know you owe me nothing. I suspect and expect that I would greatly appreciate your feedback on what I have said in this post, if I were to receive it, inshaAllah
