The Impeachment Hearings

Epstein was the epitome of “Dead Man Walking”.

Jetting off all over the World in a Private Jet…to a Virgin Island retreat…New York Penthouses…and rendezvous points from Paris to Dubai…with young girls on-demand and in relative anonymity?

The client list probably reads like a Forbes list of the World’s rich and powerful.

I personally think that once the investigation began, Epstein knew he was dead…

I know I’ve said this before but the thing with Trump is at this point nothing he could say would surprise anyone. He has zero filter, zero empathy, and zero gauge of what is appropriate to say and to who.

Maybe it wasn’t Bill he was covering for?

Well clutch my pearls!! I’m certain Rahm would have NEVER said anything like that.

How prophetic the words of Kelly Anne Conway…

“Alternative Facts” permeate not only our Lives…but this impeachment hearing.

Or just Bill. Either way it’s scary af at how this is just fading into afterthought. The American people are so easily distracted.

You can’t honestly say there hasn’t already been reasonable doubt established in about 3 hours this morning.

From what I’ve heard they are pounding the process because the facts are not on their side. I’m still waiting from them to say and prove that their client is not guilty of the charges.

You’ve spent three plus hours watching?

I listened on NPR

There was quite a bit of “yeah he did it and there was nothing wrong with it.”

This assumes a “guilty until proven innocent stance” which is the opposite of what actually has to happen. Regardless of the case, the onus is on the “prosecution” to prove guilt.

Note: President Trump’s actions are clearly questionable (in many regards) but is there a crime? I don’t know.

The evidence as it has been presented and a lot of trump own tweets would be enough to convict most in a real court.

Actually we did get a glimpse into him behind closed doors with the infamous “grab them by the pussy” remark. So…

Good thing our system allows for a defense.

If truth be told they don’t need a defense because they have enough of the jurors in their pocket for acquittal. I don’t believe 99.9% of the shit trump says but I agree with him that he could shoot someone on 5th ave on video and he would not be convicted in the senate. After he is let off the hook here there will be no stopping him from whatever he wants to do. Just wait and watch.

I should’ve been clearer earlier:

Of course AG-Barr isn’t providing cover for Bill Clinton; in fact, he’s out here justifying some hyper-unitary executive theory to combat the zealot progressives and their pursuit of earthly paradise. [Office of Public Affairs | Attorney General William P. Barr Delivers the 19th Annual Barbara K. Olson Memorial Lecture at the Federalist Society's 2019 National Lawyers Convention | United States Department of Justice]

Ok that’s prob not the most charitable summary, but imagine where Bill Clinton fits on the scale of ‘righteous conservatives’ versus ‘zealot leftists’ (that Barr, Pompeo et al seem to find themselves pitted against)

Or I’m wrong and Clinton is also part of the in-crowd for whom AG-Barr has functioned as fixer

EDIT - to be clear, it’s AG-Barr who oversees the Bureau of Prisons which in turn house federal-level inmates

@magnumd beat me to it.

You really don’t need a “defense” when the “jury” is rigged and paid for…and is scared shitless to defy the “defendant”.

Wait…

Do GOP Senators actually have the balls to state that they are “offended” by something said by one of the DEM Impeachment Managers?

(Let that sink in for a while, considering almost 4 years of the Twitter-in-Chief…)
