Sorry, missed this part. I enjoy debating these issues and believe it or not I try to learn from these back and forth’s.
@loppar is no doubt educated and knowledgeable of politics. But he’s also an arrogant egomaniac who’s convinced he’s always right (Kind of like Trump!!), so I don’t bother much having a back and forth with him. He’ll for sure sound intelligent and make me look stupid and uninformed, using politifact and CNN and Wikipedia to prove how right he is. It’s just not fun or educational. You guys have differing opinions than me and bring up thought provoking ideas that make me research more and get more informed. He and a couple others here just like to show how smart they are. I’m not impressed.
Thank you.
Quite possible.
Most definitely.
Is nothing sacred to the dastardly liberals? Even Wikipedia is poisoned with their facts.
Now you’re lying. Your post reads like a grudging admiration.
The fact that so far at least, Obama has not been connected to Epstein, unlike Trump and Dershowitz and even Clinton, says something very positive about him.
The same Christian conservatives who idolize trump, go figure.
You caught me ![]()
Almost 3 hours straight of Schiff repeating himself over and over. That was awful.
Did you expect anything else? Regardless of one’s “stance” on this issue - repeated record tracks is all we are going to hear from both sides.
Just to add, @cyclonengineer…
Trumps Team has sort of already revealed its hand. There will be hours of:
-
attacking the DEMS, not the facts, and
-
Trump hasn’t done anything that other President’s haven’t done.
I think everyone already knows that the outcome of all of this is already pretty certain.
I’d say the outcome is ‘dead-to-rights certain,’ ironically enough.
What I’d call ‘pretty certain’ is the eventuality of Trump refusing to accept the results come November.
Would it be any worse than being associated with Farrakhan or Rev. Wright? I guess, at least they weren’t pedophiles.
Considering all the times Schiff has been caught lying, the word “facts” is kind of subjective.
I mean, at least he didn’t get caught lying and then coin the term Alternative Fact.
Actually, that was Kellyanne. I fucking love that women. She should hold a lifetime appt in the Whitehouse. Seriously, she is the definition of ride-or-die, go down with the ship, ALWAYS have your back no matter what.
Lot of bad, dishonest people in DC. Let’s start cleaning the swamp from the top down, eh?
Her husband I find equally awesome. Basically just saying the opposite of what she says on national TV.
Obama did call those two out on their views. When it comes to Epstein it seems like there is a lot of silence.
If we’re going to say we don’t know peoples heart and soul then is anyone a bad person? A public persona says everything about something when their whole life has been in the public eye. If you don’t think Trumps a liar, cheat, adulterer, speaks horribly about people constantly, is a narcissist, then I don’t know what to tell you. You’re saying we have all this evidence that he’s a dick but we don’t know what he’s like behind closed doors? We haven’t met him so how do we know?
I don’t need to meet certain people to know they are fairly horrible people. I don’t know what’s in the BTK killers heart and soul so maybe I shouldn’t judge him just because he’s a murderer? Ok I guess and Trumps not a murderer but what could he possibly have to do for you to actually think he’s a narcissistic conman with zero self control? I’ve said this before if a loved one acted like Trump you’d either seek out professional help or that would be the part of your family you wanted nothing to do with.
I don’t really care if one likes him despite these things but to deny them at this point with overwhelming evidence because one hasn’t “met” him seems like a stretch to say the least.
To say we don’t know what’s in his heart and soul is really weird to me. “Hey this guys terrible to tons of people in front of others but we don’t know his soul!”
What lies do you speak of? If you mean that he may have mischaracterised the Lev parnas text messages, maybe? But if you have been paying attention(most trump supporters have not) you can see that the case has been made against trump without mentioned parnas.
The case is very strong. And if we are going get into lie tallies trump would be in the hall of shame. Btw, which is more dangerous, a lie from a congressman or thousands and thousands of lies from the president of the US?
Yes, but the goal is to damage the presidents reputation… we already know he will be acquitted… and the notion of this trial already somewhat has damaged his reputation, with polls indicating 51% of ALL Americans (the majority) believing he should be impeached and 70% believing he did something unethical/immoral… This damages/lessens his chances for re-election. The trial is a sham, it’s corrupt, and no… the dems aren’t just as corrupt, I don’t buy that argument (the notion that ALL presidents have done this shit is BS. Trumps Twitter rants, rampant allegations of corruption during and prior to his presidency are unprecedented and America’s forefathers are probably rolling in their graves in my opinion)
He’s one of the WORST/biggest climate deniers we have, I firmly believe (whilst he has done things I like, such as recognising Isreal as legitimate etc) he induces far more damage (both in general and to the image of the American populace) than good… Even his good decisions, in my opinion aren’t made with good intent in his heart, I believe his decisions are all based on his own agenda, he’s more of a businessman (and an incredibly greedy, narcissistic/sociopathic and corrupt one at that)
I also have reason to believe he’s a drug addict (probably amphetamines) based on allegations, some of his incoherent ramblings etc
Exactly, the argument “but all presidents do this” doesn’t hold up… Trump’s web of lies is unprecedented… or at least the amount of lies that the public can easily perceive to be present (we will never know entirely what goes on behind closed doors in parliament)
My father is incredibly Pro Trump and Scott Morrison, we fight a LOT… and much of our fighting stems from differing opinions regarding various subjects. It’s impossible to put our differences aside, esp when someone says something like “I hope you’re friends get arrested, they deserve it”… for what? Smoking a joint? Seriously? We’re fucking teenagers…
Then there’s also the notion of partial climate change denial, differing opinions regarding large scale geopolitical issues, some very old school opinions (regarding inter-religious marriage etc… thinks tattoos are only associated with the lower class/criminals, disagrees with them due to religious beliefs too etc)
Out of curiosity, what happens if this occurs. Surely he’d get kicked out, he can’t just say “no” after losing the election… Right? Or will he turn full dictator and fuck up America’s reputation irreparably
From Wikipedia…
It is not necessary for the losing candidate to concede for the winning candidate to be seated, and the losing candidate is not obliged to concede once defeat has been conclusively demonstrated.
Sounds like they would just swear in the other president even if trump never admits defeat.
