Man, I just watched the documentary The Illuminati and if everything being said is true…wow…that is so very sad. Thank God I live in Canada (they didn’t say anything about that shit going on in Canada).
When I first read your post I was going to instantly post a negitive critique for believing ANYTHING about the Illuminati other than it was a 17th century scandle in Bavaria and for making Canadians look like dumbasses for believing such crap. However, on second thought I havn’t seen the documentary you mentioned. Please post more information about movie so other members can discuss it. Thanks.

Well, like I said, IF it is true, it is sad. You can get the documentary on torrentspy. They basically say that everything done in the States and Britain is a huge conspiracy from a satanic cult comprised of elite members of the society (industry leaders, US government, etc) to take over the world.
Really entertaining to say the least.
did the documentary mention UFO’s, aliens and black magic?
Just Google The Illuminati. It is a joke.
Have you read “Angels and Demons”? It is obviously fiction but if your interested in that stuff you may find the book interesting.
Cheers,

French Menace: I find that kind of stuff really intresting too. However, It is absolutley false. To (liberally)paraphrase William of Ocham “the simplest solution is the most likely solution”. So what is more likely: a secret cabal of the worlds richest most powerful men have secretly controled the course of Western Civilization for over four hundred years or…sometimes shit happens thats totally unrelated to other shit for no reason at all (sorry for the run-on sentence).
Btw, if you are intersted in these kinda stuff, check out the previously mentioned Angels & Demons and the Da Vinci code by Dan Brown. Total fiction but very interesting. A superior novel to both (in my humble opinion)is Umberto Eco’s “Foulcault’s Pendulum”. You might also want to check out the recent movie “National Treasure”.
If you want to seriously investigate the Illuminati, please search the net as Zap suggested and beware of anyone that takes serious the Kights Templars, Illuminati, Freemasons, Mary Magdalene(sp?) French kings, Scotish chapels, Skull and Bones and the Billdenburg(sp?) group as one giant conspiracy. If anyone else has any other comments or opinions, please offer them. Thanks.
I think the saddest part is so many people believe that crap.
I looked some into the DaVinci Code, man even the paintings do not match what he says. He talks about “the hand in this painting is EXACTLY like the hand in this other painting” uh, no it’s not. “This baby is Jesus not John The Baptist” uh, no not according to the notes and sketches found that DaVinci made prior to painting it. “There are 666 panels in this pyramid” sorry, no there’s 673, and that’s not counting the hundreds of triangular panels.
Also I can’t stand how these nuts twist the countil at Nicea around. They had a meeting to decide what the basic tenets of Christianity were since some people had different ideas and they didn’t want to have all these crazy ideas running around. That is not “oppression” that is just what all scientists and historians do: talk and figure out what the truth is, then promote that and forget the older, other theories.
If the Druids and blood drinkers and female goddess orgy worshipping pagans had any philosophy that truly spoke to people, it would have survived the test of time. The fact that it didn’t is not because of some secret society, it just died out, that’s all.
The illuminati exist as do freemasons. Just know that the god in “god we trust” on US currency does not represent the Christian God. Only fools would believe that by just taking a look at the dollar bill. Look at all the masonic symbols and phrases on the currency as well as all over the US capital. Realize these are ancient pagan symbols that had and have a lot of meaning. laters pk

Oh good Lord. The way people get all worked up about Freemasons and the Illuminati is so hilarious. Most governments have a hard time keeping their acts together let alone international secret organizations that rule the entire world. Sure, the symbols on the currency are Freemasons symbols… and? Point being? People know so little about Freemasons that they assume they MUST be up to something super-secret or that they are a cult. Seriously, people have been taking “Angels & Demons”, “The Da Vinci Code” and “National Treasure” a little too seriously. Everyone wants to believe cloak and dagger despite all signs pointing to the contrary.

My grandfather was a Mason. After he died we found some books that were all written in code. They also had to pledge to not reveal their secrets “on pain of death.”
To me, it is not an example of a secret society controlling the local government, it is more like a bunch of grown-up kids playing “secret decoder ring” and not wanting their wives to find out what bar they went to and who was there.

You must be involved in the higher circles of government to make your first statement.
Actually what the free masons do is no secret at all. It only seems like a secret to the ignorant who first hear it. Heck even most free-masons have no idea what type of real organization they are involved in. Only the highest degrees learn the truth.
Forget about hollywood, let’s talk about reality and what is. It’s funny how most people are born in a certain environmnet and accept it as being good without analyzing it and its history. laters pk
And just so everyone knows, there is a movement to unify all the religions of the world. It is called Ecumunism and it is all over America. The free-masons are at the for front of this. laters pk

Exactly. My Grandfather was a Mason, also. After his death, my uncle and I sat up in the hills in Arkansas going through all of his stuff. Interesting reading. It was almost sad to think about these old men playing “secret clubhouse” so late into life.
pkradgreek,
Between this and the “ONLY ONE TRUTH” thread, do you not see that maybe, just maybe, you are very susceptible to believing in fairy tales?
I had a summer internship w/ The Illuminati back when I was in college. No big whoop, they like to think of themselves as more important than they really are. They are also quite a bit behind The Tri-Lateral Commission in terms of industry leaders as far as secret societies go. Still, I will say that getting to work on a coup in a small African country was pretty interesting for a 20 year old college kid.
pkradgreek: What actual proof do you have to back up your statements? Do the freemasons exist? Yes. Are they invovled in a secret conspiracy to control the word? Unproven. Did the Illuminatii exist at one time? Yes. Are they invovled in a secret conspiracy to control the world? Unproven. Are there Masonic symbols on the U.S. dollar bill and in Washington? Maybe, depends on your interretation. It should be noted that it was very common for upper and (upper) middle class Englishmen (ie. The Founding Fathers) to be Masons.
Many of the ideas in early American documents (conts., D.O.I,ect.,) were popular among intellectuals at the time and most certainly would be discussed at Mason meetings, but does this make the ideas Masonic? Were the French and American Revolutions products of a Masonic conspiracy? Both events share silmilar ideas and inspiration but there is no proof to justify this.
Btw, by claiming that people are ignorant by not realizing the OBVIOUS Masonic?Illuminati conspiracy is not a real defense of your position at all. Please present proof.

****** I have read many books that relate this to the people who want one world government. That basically this is a satanic cult who by the way leave one seat open in all their meetings(that of SATAN).
