That’s 10iu EOD split into 3 or more doses, mostly IV.
Gotcha! Thanks…
How long is the PWO window?

I also think that if you use the i.v. method, then one large spike and several smaller ones is good, as opposed to say 3 or 4 equal size doses. The large one should be post workout.

Just wanted to confirm that, yes, as I said, except for the one pre-training shot, every other shot has been done IV (which is not nearly the big deal it may sound like).
I’m also happy to report that I intuitively usually took my biggest dose PWO. Usually it was something like this: 2.5, 2 (IM 30min pre-workout), 3 (15min PWO), 2.5, 2.5 or 2, 2 (IM 30min pre-wo), 3 (15min PWO), 3.

Is this answering the question above it, or another question?
I’m kind of curious how long your idea is for the PWO window, too, BBB. I’ve been doing my shots the minute I get home from the gym, which usually equates to 15 to 20 minutes, which I imagine is fine. However, if you thought immediately PWO would be better, I’d probably start bringing my gear to the gym to comply.
I got the impression that BBB was fatiguing of my incessant questions and was sarcastic??
Also, here is a copy of my post a little back directed at you Cortes:
Cortes,
Congrats on your fantastic dedication and results. I always appreciate reading your feedback and experiences.
I am curious if you have been following the new research Christian Thibaudeau and the Biotest crew have been buzzing about recently. The assertion is that pre-workout carbs is the way to go to maximise gains and minimize bodyfat. They are claiming amazing results spanning the gamut from strength, recovery, elimination of joint pain and steroid like growth from the new protocol. CT now asserts that post workout carbs are not required and suggests having a meal about 1 hour after training (or amino pulsing with Casein hydrolysate protein powder 1 hour after training and eating a meal 15 mins later).
No doubt you have a good feel for what works with your particular physiology, but these are interesting assertions from a pretty reliable source - CT.
Thanks DH.
Yeah, I sometimes think T-Nation’s marketing is on steroids. But I sure as hell cannot argue with Thib’s size in that video, and all of the nutritional principles seem sound to me. I have always had pre/peri/post workout nutrition, and I’ll have to look a little deeper into this new program to see what it’s all about.
One thing I do know is that I put on the most size of my unassisted training life when, immediately PWO I started sucking down a massive shake loaded with Surge, bananas, apples, whole milk and tons of heavy cream. It filled an entire blender and I’d drink the whole thing and I always had to sit down and try not to puke it all up for about 10 minutes after, and feel miserable for another hour after, but damn did it pack on the size. That idea was given to me by Prisoner way back in the days when he was still posting here regularly.

So you’re taking how much on GH days? 2.5+2+3+2.5+2+2+3+3? Ho. Lee. Shit. that’s 20iu, you loaded b’stard ![]()
BBB[/quote]
Sorry, I was unclear there. the numbers are either or, so you can stop counting one at the “or” and begin counting an entirely different set after. I was attempting to give 2 example days of use and looking at it now it looks pretty ambiguous. So it is supposed to be a choice between 12.5 and 10, which is usually the range I use. (And yeah, I have gone a bit higher a few times because I do get all of my GH for free because of a lovely little arrangement I have with my business partner ![]()
I want to try this protocol accept i’am going to try IM but should i take slin with the GH-injections or isn’t that neccesary.
MHD, did you miss the part about IV being the method that produces the most dramatic results?
Hey BBB or Cortes,
Can either of you give me some tips for injecting IV…I would like to start incorporating it into my routine for the morning and post-workout shot but have no idea what the fuck i am doing.
Do I just stick it into a visible vein or is there something more to it?
Thanks,
FG
Also, I am going to start incorporating the metformin use soon and was thinking, what if I just used metformin on NON-GH days?
My resoning is I want to maximize my insulin response when I am using the GH right? so using metformin and gh at the same time is sort of counter productive no?..that way on non-gh days I can reduce the insulin response to help the effects on the days I am using the GH right?
Currently I am just trying to eat mostly low GI carbs except pre workout when I am drinking gadorade and BCAAs and post workout when I am having a protein shake with added leucine.
My daily routine looks kinda like this:
early am - 2iu GH (IM) on GH days which is about 3x/w
breakfast - 3 whole eggs and berries with oatmeal or plain yogurt, greens+, fish oil and multi
lunch - steak, salmon, or chicken on salad
30 mins pre-workout - 3iu GH (IM) on GH days
immediately pre-workout - half gadaorade/half water with 10-15g BCAA powder
immediately Post-workout - 3iu GH (IM) on GH days
15 mins post workout - Protein shake (50g protein, 20g carbs) with leucine added
Dinner - steak, salmon, or chicken with salad and some mixed veggies…sometimes sweet potato or corn
Late night - Cottage cheese or protein shake, fish oil
Workout schedule would look like this:
M - chest/back/shoulders (GH day)
Tu - rugby practice (metformin day)
W - legs and arms (GH day)
Th - rugby practice (metformin day)
F - off (metformin day)
Sa - rugby game (GH day)
Su - off (metformin day)
