Just enjoy the death scenes and the old lady at the end and you will at least be entertained.

As bad as it was, I don’t hear anyone yet walking out of the theater.

Ok, The Departed WAS good but only because it tried to imitate an already awesome cop-robber movie: Infernal Affairs. I think it is a Hong Kong film and it stars Tony Leung and another great Chinese actor.

Even the director of The Departed, upon receiving an award for the movie, said the script was based off of Infernal Affairs. Check it out (part I, not II or III).

What a horrible movie. I don’t even blame marky mark - the movie was such a joke I would have mailed it in too. It would have been better if they hadn’t spent the majority of their budget in casting him though, a much lesser actor could have pulled that off. The key was just to act really whiny and complain in every scene, because that’s really all mark did.

The scientists depicted in the movie are ridiculous - no scientist would ever just throw up his hands and say “It’s a mystery of nature!” although it seems everyone is keen on doing just that. It’s also hilarious to me that when they were attempting to provoke fear and suspense in the movie…they had to show wind blowing through grass in a sunny field. Yep, I was pretty scared.

I don’t think Mark even liked that movie. I watched the special features…so I could find out what went wrong, and he looked pissed off in every behind the scenes moment.

I doubt we’ll be seeing him in any more Shama films.

This movie is a mystery of nature…and yet, this thread exists and we all still saw it.

OK so everyone dies for no discernable reason… how the fuck can this movie possibly be resolved? “Everyone dies” with no explanation is fucking stupid. It’ll have some retarded plot twist at the end, which will make little to no sense or be incredibly lame, and like two people will survive in a conclusionless story.

Shyamalan sucks. Period. Sixth sense is the most over rated movie I’ve ever seen.[/quote]

Its the Trees and plants!!!
