Of course, there’s the decades ong US led economic war that was waged on Venezueala, which intentionally drove down their oil revenue. I mean, it’s almost like the US has a long history of interfering in and toppling democratically elected south american governments. Also, as has been pointed out, there was the unsustainable levels of corruption. Bad governance is bad governance, regardless of a nations system of economy.
As has been discussed ad nauseam: What surgeries would you be willing to wait 8+ weeks for? What rationing is okay with you?
Corruption is rampant, but you think because no one went to jail for their crimes that no law was broken. How cute. Thank gawd not everyone is naive as you.
If there were laws broken to move forward with the foreclosure what were the chances of laws being broken in the funding portion of the transaction? You believe none because no one is in jail because of it. What a sucker!
The corporations and the government they mostly control have been in bed together for decades. It is a reason why Sanders message resonates so much.
When applications were filled out by lenders on behalf of customers to get them loans they normally would not qualify for it is the customers fault?
And just because I state that corporations have an undue influence on the government, to your chagrin, doesn’t make it untrue.
Or maybe it may have to do with economic warfare. Mostly brought on by the U.S.

Yes, single-payer is for everyone.
Can’t be sure that the U.S. led economic war drove down their oil profits but corruption was most likely a factor in Venezueala’s economic crisis. Can you imagine the corruption in government in the U.S.?
The wait time problem is largely a myth. I have worked with several South Americans, Eastern Europeans and folks from the Caribbean. Not one has complained about wait times of healthcare in their country. And what about chronic/degenerative diseases and how they are handled?
Bullshit. The english NHS cant even manage 8 weeks for surgery.
Bullshit to you. I’ll bet you can’t even admit that single-payer costs much less and often produces better overall results. When single-payer comes along I hope they have an opt-out portion that fools like you choose. Eventually you will come to single-payer as it costs far less and produces superior results. And I will just laugh and laugh and…
Except you pay UP FRONT with a big tax bill. It doesn’t cost less.
2016 report on wait times in Canadian healthcare
He will never understand this.
No, fucktard. This isn’t complicated. Try again:
Sander’s got utterly destroyed by one of the worst most corrupt politicians in US history so…
Another typical Zep comment so far off base it’s comical.
So all those people in other countries enjoy paying more? Prove it.
He didn’t say they enjoy paying more. They DO pay more in the form of TAX DOLLARS.
Even if this were true, what caused the spike as the authors claim that the wait times were much less in earlier years? Could it be tax cuts for wealthy corporations and individuals.
And what of all the other nations with single-payer?
So am I too believe that the rest of the world actually pays more for their healthcare?
It doesn’t matter what evidence I provide it doesn’t fit into your ideology and therefore will be rejected. It is telling that you don’t think there were no laws broken. As the entire economy almost was destroyed but this was due to the public.
Your thoughts belong in a Toby Keith song.
Sanders was not destroyed. He lost mainly because of the corporate Dems helped to sabotage his campaign. Had he gotten the nominee he would have crushed Trump. RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - General Election: Trump vs. Sanders
No he claimed they actually paid more for their healthcare via taxes.
God, you’re fucking stupid. I don’t “believe” one way or the other. If you have evidence a law or laws were broken PRODUCE SAID EVIDENCE. That’s a simple request. Just saying, someone guilty a law must have been broken is something a 5-year-old would do.
Sander’s was utterly dismattled.
We already know a couple of countries pay more than the U.S. and that’s without factoring in how much more a lot of European countries pay in numerous taxes. So, ya, it’s very likely they actually pay more for their care.
