The wait time problem is largely a myth. I have worked with several South Americans, Eastern Europeans and folks from the Caribbean. Not one has complained about wait times of healthcare in their country. And what about chronic/degenerative diseases and how they are handled?

Even if this were true, what caused the spike as the authors claim that the wait times were much less in earlier years? Could it be tax cuts for wealthy corporations and individuals.
