No - and I don’t think I want it!
I never liked the sugary or dessert type flavors. When I’m poisoning myself, I prefer the direct route - beer or booze straight to my liver. A frontal assault strategy.

If I remember correctly a cement mixer is Bailey’s, vodka (maybe) and lime juice I think. It curdles in the shot glass. I had one. That was more than enough for me. Beer is my drink of choice as well. Stouts if they are available.

So awesome to see this positive development, and so frustrating to consider all those that were afflicted as a result of the previous guidance. I’m grateful no one in my family suffers from allergies to common food products, and also just blown away at how I can no longer pack my kid a PBJ due to the school being “peanut free” as a result of all those with allergies. I think back to how, growing up, if we banned peanut butter, we’d legit have kids that would starve to death.

I was unaware of this until several of my coworkers had babies and told me they were told by their pediatricians to introduce peanuts before age one. I read an article several years ago about a country (can’t remember which one) that has almost no peanut allergies and their kids under age 1 eat some kind of peanut snacks regularly.

Wow. Those metrics always sounds so strange in gross volume per year.

Since no one asked, you have to eat 151 grams of beef protein per day to eat a whole cow in 1 year.

I want to combine this with the Milo of Croton myth, starting out eating 1g a day while carrying the bull, adding a gram per day, and work my way up to carrying a bull and eating 2 cows in a year.

This keeps re-affirming the notion that exercise isn’t a great tool for fat loss directly but it’s invaluable for establishing the environment to allow it to happen.

That is the only mention of exercise having a direct effect on gut microbiome and they did not even test it.

“During low training load times, or periods of rest, athletes are often more relaxed about their diets”

“in this study we saw no change in total carbohydrate or fiber intake during period of rest but we did observe a decline in the diet quality of food eaten. This decline was related to increases in processed fast foods, decreases in fresh fruit and vegetables and a moderate increase in alcohol intake.”

“Even though overall carbohydrate and fiber intake remained steady, the quality of food choices declined during rest periods. At the same time, digestion slowed, which may have further influenced the composition of gut bacteria.”

The study points to the diet itself being the main factor not exercise.

True. But the fact that diets started to relax with a lighter workload is still interesting for someone interested in creating the fat-loss environment, even if it’s not a direct effect

It could be that the average person eats worse when training less but, it might not. I tend to just eat less.

But this study is not really applicable to the average person. The study used elite rowers in preparation for competition. They were tested 3 weeks before competition and then 7 days into the off-season. It makes sense that they relaxed with their diet after a period of peaking for competition.

They ate the same amount of food but, the quality was slightly lower.

Microbiome not “creating a fat-loss environment” was the purpose of the study and it did not prove that at all.

I get that you don’t like the study, but I read it as “some researchers are interested in something, and maybe new nerds will find something,” rather than “They didn’t prove anything to change my mind.”
