The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

I once had about 4-500cal of dried smoked baby sardines for “breakfast”

I confess I am impressed by this. In the USA these days, professors are pressured to not do this. The difference between the smartest to the dumbest kid in the class is 100 to 85. (I pulled those #s out of my ass, but you get the idea.)

grade inflation is real… so are low standards…

Not a flame, but…

Young lady, please re-check the post you made about your schedule. Just because you can play the game, it doesn’t mean you have to.

Honestly, I have no reason to take harder classes. Doing so would pretty much be making my life harder for the sake of making it harder.
Technically, I don’t even have to take multivariate if I were to go into consulting like I’d planned, but things have changed and I want to get into graduate school for Econ, so…

Like your workout regimen?

Take the classes that you think will teach you something, or that you think might actually be of interest to you as a person. Your “major” (excluding engineering/sciences and pre-med) will be a faded memory shortly after you enter the real world.

And I confess that I think “consulting” is what people do…when they can’t actually “do”.

The ones that interest me also, for some reason, happen to be easy or at least far easier than expected. For example, my Russian history class was fascinating and taught by the most amazing professor. I definitely learned a lot. However, the assessments/expectations were about 1/2 of the expectations for my IB history class (which had a pushover, grade inflating teacher to begin with )

LOL!!!

I plan on going into academia, so I certainly hope that’s not the case for me

Check out the post I made shortly after you boasted about your super easy schedule.

I confess I posted that specifically due to what you posted.

I wouldn’t go alone. Posting fake ads and robbing the person who turns up is a growing crime.

I’m here to buy the gym equipment.
Huh? What you talking about
…Long explanation…
Oh, sorry no, that’s not this address.
Then on the way back to your car some fuck confronts you with a knife…

Yep, my life will get exponentially harder very fast. I’m basking in the easy life while it lasts

I dislike meatloaf… there, I said it.

Failing a student brings a shitload of headaches and it also increases the chances that the student will leave the university and that is more pain and the university loses a client. It’s hard to come across a bigger disincentive to do something so unless you absolutely need to…

IN my opinion… if a person ran a training forum with 500,000 members I would assume they would or should be knowledgeable on said subject,

Am I wrong @Chris_Colucci?

Haha that was a hard one to let slip, I have to say.

Yeah, Bullshit meter was off the chart on that one…

Is this what I think it is?

Or have I missed something new?

Something new… guy took Chris to task and made several claims.

Will have to find that one later
