The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

There is the chance of fire though…

A radiator can catch fire?

how about a spin dryer as compromise?

I still don’t understand how it’s gonna make our life any better given that we’ve never remotely felt the need for one. Ultimately, he’ll do whatever he wants with his money, but I can’t help but think that the next time I hear him bitching that we have no money I will want to throw the thing to his face.

To what end?

Putting clothes on to of the radiator unattended could catch fire. It happened to my neighbor a few years ago. Luckily the fire was small and caused minimal damage

If I throw it hard enough, we might cash out on his health insurance. At least we’ll go even

In the summer, clothes can dry on a few hours outside. They just might blow away in the process.

I can’t imagine not having heat or AC in the whole house/apartment. Our temps range from -10 to 110* F throughout the year, though.

My gym doesn’t have fractional plates, so I usually just round up to the nearest five. Well, this morning’s program called for 72 KG for three singles, so I took that as 75 I got the first two singles but failed the third one and almost passed out on the second attempt

If you’re doing neurological work like singles, best to round down

Well, the other part of the program called for four doubles at 70 so I was kind of stuck

Does it count as a hack if the stores register computer can’t do math?
It’s been about three months since the “Price increase” of bars to 2.99. I went in today and got 15 at 31.35- They charged me 32.50 last time

You have never experienced getting a soft, fluffy, fresh, warm towel or blanket out of the dryer and wrapping it around you or just hugging it to your chest and face? I’m so sorry.

Or it’s dead still and they are stiff as board, contain some kind of bugs, has bird shit on them, cover with some kind pollen, or in worse case scenarios a bear decides to play them and rips them to pieces.

I love my dryer!

We use a drying rack but inside. Out side it freeze in winter, get full of bugs or spider or yep bird ship too.

Dryers for the win!! But I will say living a traveling life. My best time saver hack is to do smallish 3-days-worth loads of wash every few days (at the hotel). Then hang those clothes in my room. They are usually like 80% dry by morning. And so far no risk of bears or bird shit that way. Bonus hack: turn the heat up to 75 when leaving for work in the morning and they will definitely be dry.

Regarding training. I get tired of people writing " I have read " and not " I have tried".

I have read that I can gain 0.5-1.0 lbs of muscle per month. That would be a net gain of about 1.5-3.0 lbs with the extra water and glycogen.

I have tried to gain 0.5-1.0 lbs of muscle per month and I just got fat.
