… and soon you’ll be doing this every weekend and waking up the next day promising you won’t do it again

I decry the commercialization of Christmas.

I’ve been watching Christmas movies on the 2 Hallmark Channels since they started airing them the week before Halloween…

@flappinit

This reminds me of something you told me last week haha

Really? The alternative is a spiritual Christmas… Fuck that, I want my gym toys.

Upping my calories has really killed my appetite

Tonight, there was amazing roasted chicken and pork loin at the buffet. I went in starving so I took 2chicken breast’s 2 wings, a cut of pork and a couple pieces of skin. Well, i made it through the skins a wing and 1/2 a breast before I couldn’t continue- What happened?!

But a true spiritual Christmas is VERY viking…

I swear if I read one more post where “mechanical loading” of the muscle is mentioned, and misused, I am gonna start burning physics books and blowing the ashes onto the poster. [Can’t think of anything badass to say so this will have to do]

Mechanical loading has nothing to do with muscular failure or fatigue. This is akin to those “medial delts”…

You’re an adult, why do you have to wait for Christmas to buy what you want?

Thirteenth monthly salary would be my guess

Because I do not live in isolation and have a limitless budget - so spending has an opportunity cost.

Occassions lower the spend barriers because they create false justification - just as they are intended to. Work with systems, not against them.

Hands down, the best breed for children and the friendliest breed, is a King Charles Cavalier. I like bigger dogs personally and my dog is medium sized, but if I could have gotten a KCC I would have. I think @anon96032531 has one.

Sorry, this is total BS. Put on some pants, own up to your actions, don’t hide behind some “false justification”. No one smart is being fooled.

Last time I saw Italians burning science books it was the Roman Catholic Church.

You worry about pants, I’ll worry about things that work :+1:

I have no need for false justification. :+1:

Isn’t this thread flame free?

It is. I don’t start, but I’ll close, because I’m a coffee drinker.

I also didn’t understand the world I lived in once. It becomes less frustrating when you finally catch on
