Yeah you pretty much said what I was thinking when I read the post. I rolled my eyes when he got mad and said do you know how much work it took to bench double body weight? I wanted to chime in and say yes. I’m sure he sacrificed allot :open_mouth:

Running steroids while doing Stronglifts 5x5 has to be one of the more ridiculous things I’ve read about in quite a while.

I normally just interpret these things very loosely and do my own shit. John Meadows writes absurd things like:

Dumbell Bench Press
4 sets of 10
These sets are all @RPE 9.

This is admirable. It’s called doing what you say you’re going to do/embracing your responsibilities. Don’t beat yourself up over it.

The workout thing is dumb, I agree, I’m the same way.
