On the flipside, I had a playlist for my kids with a song from a singer who was found to be a kiddie fiddler. I took his song off the playlist… We’re strange beings.

Before my kids were old enough to really understand, and maybe didn’t know about MJ’s legal/moral history, We watched a video compilation so they (the older ones, anyway) could see for themselves why he’d been such a phenomenon. One of my kids at one point used the phrase “before he was white” in referencing a favorite song or something. They loved the videos. Guy had his shit together in that regard.
I don’t necessarily feel that I’ve won any moral victory when I eschew a dead man’s work because his moral character lacked after growing up in a bizarre mix of mega stardom and abusive home life.
Frankly my outrage energy is reserved for the people who allow their little boys to go to sleepovers at grown men’s houses because they’re rich and famous. I can’t even imagine my reaction should a living MJ have approached me to compliment my on the good manners or intelligence of one of my sons (lovely boys, they, then and now) and then wondered what the son might be doing later, and could he maybe come hang out? Uhhhhhh, no. He has homework. He’ll be home with me.
And what did these parents expect to GAIN? Did they expect to be set up for life? Just hoping to rub shoulders with fame? WHAT?

I got a laugh online seeing two guys arguing over the company they get their home gym stuff from. Their brand loyalty was amusing since I’m a complete whore with it. I have stuff from Elitefts,Rogue,York, Titan and Ironmind and a few others. Not to mention all my plates were manufactured by at least 5 different outfits.

I could never be loyal on equipment. Every time I use another/different bench, seated what ever, I’m like “Oh, that’s nice! I want one of these!”.
Parabody/SE makes nice stuff! Elite fts makes nice stuff.
Never really liked cybex.
