Confession: Two or three times a week, I debate moving this thread to Off-Topic because it’s barely training-related anymore. I only hesitate because that’d be opening the floodgates to get way off-topic.

Confession: I didn’t think I wanted to ‘compete’ in our mock meet, just didn’t think I had the competitive drive anymore, turns out I do, and I’m a little pissed that the ego lifting, high squatting, afternoon crowd has backed out of signing up almost to a man, buncha curlin’ in the squat rack lame-asses.

To be fair, most of the participants in this thread really do care about being Bigger, Stronger, & Leaner… so it’s like our own personal off topic thread.

I used 4 different machines in my last workout.

I was responding to someone in that exact thread when you posted this.

I confess that I’m extremely disappointed when I see the pics of some of the guys posting down there.

Shouldn’t they look at least as good as us mere mortals if they’re on that stuff?

There’s that, for sure. It’s not a magic bullet, but it puts you in a really good position for results.

Then there are the guys like, “I’m about 30% bodyfat, eating kinda crap LOLzers just can’t fight the cravings, always tired and have no energy to lift. Doc says I’m borderline low T so I’m thinking of starting EOD injections.”

Confession: It’s been hot as fuck in Denver and tomorrow morning I’ll be lifting in my garage. I’ve never lifted butt naked so decided I’m about to do it.

I’m gotta make sure I clean the floor though because tomorrow is Squats, and every time I squat I think my dick will touch the floor. Should be interesting getting that nice breeze while I squat.

I used to lift in just briefs pretty regularly, and naked quite a few times too. Very freeing. I called it “ultra raw”. Never squatted naked though, I feel like I’d need everything “kept out the way”

One of my wife’s favorite scenes in a movie… had it directed at me several times.
