The First Bakery Decision

Food.

How is a wedding cake a message? And not, ya know, a cake?

Edit: so wedding cakes are measages, wedding food are food. Wot?

So what kind of cake is that? It’s not a wedding cake. It’s not a cake cake.

It’s funny watching grown men eject all common sense. If all cakes are just cakes, then the baker need not them a cake with any scrap of marriage acknowledgement. Obviously, that’s not acceptable, and makes that avenue of argument silly.

If you didn’t have a wedding cake how would you communicate to the people that they are at a wedding?

But no one says they have to.

Really? Obviously it’s a message, they want to buy a WEDDING CAKE, not just any cake…

How does this need to be pointed out?

I had this overpaid guy with a MacBook and a microphone announce us on the way in. Woulda saved a ton of money if I knew I could have just put the cake by the front door

Or is it a cake for a wedding?

Will you have my “God hate queers” cake ready by 3?

Tell me what kind of cake that is. What makes that cake different from a wedding cake or just plain cake.

So are you saying if I walked into a cake store and bought a cake, that mirrors a wedding cake, but intended to use it for a birthday party, it would be a fundamentally different cake?

Yes. With the wedding cake you are getting closer to Hell with every bite.

Important Point!

The baker already had his cake. He already had the right to refuse any customer, any time, for any reason.

But the baker had to eat the cake too! In addition to being able to refuse anyone, anytime, the baker wanted a Special Right, to specifically, vocally deny service for a Special Reason.

If someone buys a cake for a wedding but the wedding is later called off, is it still a wedding cake?

Still waiting on the answer to MY question. Will you have the “God hates Queers” ready by three.

Oh, and just to poke fun at the silliness of questions being posed to me…it’s a cakethat “mirrors” hating homosexuality. It will be used at a birthday bash!

The common sense of tyranny.

Is that a cake with a message on it, or a specific type of cake? I can’t answer until I know that.

Let’s just say two men wearing rainbow shirts, and holding hands, are being thrown into a lake of fire by a devilish looking creature, while a hand points down at the scene from the clouds above. “Do not break my laws with your abominable acts!!”

Ready by 3?

That is not an answer.

I have done nothing but reply to two different people. It’s someone else’s turn to start actually trying to tackle My questions. All I’ve gotten is “all cakes are flour and icing” ignoring that this is obviously NOT the case as the buyer wouldn’t need to be sold a WEDDING CAKE.
