There’s an import store here in Taipei that has Butterfingers and I get some when they start going stale. It sounds weird, but they are chewier and more toffee-like when they start going stale.
Oh, and Lou’s doing fine. If the ad company calls you up and says they’ll give to $30,000 to do a commercial you don’t say no. I don’t really know how much he made…likely more than that.

I never perceived Lou as ever making lots of money so how could he “fall on hard times”. When was he rich and how did I miss this?
I’m not sure how much money he had, but he had an acting career, personal training business, a line of supplements, and a picture selling business (lol).
I’m not sure how “rich” he was, but I think he was doing pretty well.
I thought the commercial was great. Didn’t seem like hard times to me, just a sense of humour.
