Why would assets be default 50-50 split while child custody is not?
Hmm

Glad to see progress is being made in some places.

I also received the best advice ever from a very chill parent who was on my adult league team last season: “You have to let them make mistakes out there.”

This is the bit i have to remember. And like you say, its about them having fun, that’s why they’re there at the end of the day…just need someone to remind me of this in the middle of a game :joy:

This is the problem the leading tech in AI is being focused as use for weaponization on multiple fronts.

If history tells me anything, it will not be used to usher in a golden age…

My exact feels. Disney will never see a dollar from me.

Supposedly men become misogynistic by spending time with men. Interesting. Better end that Saturday-night poker club.

Notice the purposefully off-putting phrasing, “getting rid of women”.

Has anyone actually met a misogynist?

It’s a spectrum, like anything else to do with people, but yes, I’ve met both men and women who don’t like women, and we’ve certainly seen them on these boards. Men who may want to have sex with women but find them otherwise reprehensible.

I found things in the article to agree with - men have traditionally had women-free zones (work, sports) but as that changes - as women increasingly invade their spaces - so do their needs. So I can’t see any reason not to support men’s spaces. I currently have a lot of guys on my caseload, and have thought that a men’s group would be cool and is needed. The problem is…me. Should a female run a men’s therapy group? Who knows. (I also don’t love the idea of working evenings, so probably wouldn’t follow through with it anyway.)

Yup. And misanthropes. The latter are at least equitable.

Simply, no.

This is the case in Arkansas as well, default 50-50 custody. Since 2021 I think.

Depends what this means. I have been blamed as a misogynist when brought up the thought that most men and women have the desire to have children.

I suspect it generally refers to people who think women as second class -citizens who can be treated badly. Or to people who are openly hostile and aggressive towards women.

In that case. Yes.

I’ve never met anyone who outright hates women as the literal definition suggests, but I have met people who think women are inferior to men in every regard except their ability to produce children or that their opinions should be discounted.

Which is ironic because the people I know who hold these views are deadbeat alcoholic cousins of my mum whose wives do all the work in and out of the house

It means dislike or hatred of women. Though of course misogynists exist, I believe there are very few of them and I’ve never known one. Of course I might have met some who kept their thoughts to themselves.

According to Oxford Dictionaries ingrained prejudices towards women count too.

Looks like that approach works for them.

Then we’ll include that.

I think you have, but because some of their views probably tend to align with yours, you may not notice their antipathy.

I love women even though they’re retarded
