Wol on the scale factor how does this movie rate with Book of Eli?

THIS MADE ME LAUGH…and I’m not all that happy that he will be in Exp-2

Jean-Claude Van Damme claims that he didn’t want to take part in Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables,” because Stallone refused to give him story details. But according to Stallone, that wasn’t the case.

“I wanted to set Jean-Claude against Jet Li, but he didn’t want to lose to Jet,” Stallone told The Sunday Times. “He didn’t think that was cool. But that’s why it would be cool; to have Jean-Claude beaten by the other man. Hey, they could have a rematch. But Steven Seagal and Van Damme, they weren’t really into our gallows humor.”

During a premiere for the movie, Stallone said that he and Van Damme recent spoke and Van Damme regrets not accepting Stallone’s offer to be in the movie. The two are now figuring out how to work together on the sequel.

“I wanted to set Jean-Claude against Jet Li, but he didn’t want to lose to Jet”…ego.

“Van Damme regrets not accepting Stallone’s offer to be in the movie” Surprise, surprise!

I read that ther ole earmarked for JCVD went to Dolph, and that Wesley Snipes was first choice for Terry Crews’ role (I like Snipes, but TC deserves a boost out of supporting character hell). Snipes couldn’t do it because of his tax problems, but he is a definite candidate for Expendables 2.0.

to those bashing JCVD (character aside), you either were born in the 90s, or in the 60s. Anyone who loved action movies in the late 80s/early 90s has to want JCVD in a movie like this.
NO I don’t, I didn’t like bloodsport and kickboxer. I don’t like JCVD and I don’t like a lot of Seagal movies.

Well that explains a lot. Gay could be the only explanation for saying such a thing.

I like Snipes also. But I do t think he would have given that shot Gun Justice.
If Van D. Can control his ego long enough for the sequel I hope he is cast as the drug dealer that was giving dolph the Drugs.

Wesley an Segal can play renagade Priest.

What’s a matter big boy? Don’t wanna watch Brokeback Mountain again? I promise this time I’ll use lube instead of just spit.

No, I don’t like the movies, didn’t say I didn’t like his Character. However, when he pretends to be chinese or something, that was always a little weird. Like his movie with Ja Rule, that kinda wasn’t that great.

However, I do like several of his movies like Machete, Born to Raise Hell, Attack Force, Shadow Man, Mercenary, and The Patriot were all good movies.

^ I’m not forgetting the opening to Blade either, Crews was the better man for the part. Wesley always played a better villain or Anti-hero.

Now if Sly can pull off a Evil Expendables for pt2 with maybe Bruce As the leader Segal as his 2nd and Wesley, Van D. & Sneak the Rock in there as not so Evil going up against Lungdren. Ok yeah I’m getting carried away now. Hahahah

Anyone know if I can email this to Stallon?

About to watch A-Team… I mean c’mon people, these movies get 40-something% on rotten tomatoes for a reason.

Nah, spit is fine.

A-team was THE BEST action flick I saw all summer until I saw the Expendables. It still gives Expendables a run for it’s money.

Watched last night, I thought it was pretty cool. I didn’t care about the acting, the dialogue was cheesy but who gives a fuck right? The action is fast, the carnage and body count is many. Statham, Li and Rourke throw in some great one liners and Lundgren nearly steals the show. I rate a movie by whether I’d buy it on DVD and yes I WILL buy this on DVD!

Thanks Wol for another great recommendation!

Were JCVD, Norris, or Seagull asked to be in it?
Larzker wrote:

JCVD turned the role down (bet he’s kicking himself now about that).

Norris was considered too powerful for the movie, he could killed all the Expendables past and present, had sex with all the women in the film twice and had time for a smoke all in the first 5 minutes. So no Chuck Norris was not asked.

I don’t know who Seagull is.

I just checked that Tomato reading for the last Rambo movie. It was 37%, an I enjoyed the hell out of that. In the end with some movies.

If I’m going to listen to someones advice I will be better off listening to someone withthe same taste as mine rather than a lump of people who are not action Junkies.

Scott Pilgram got great ratings but I ll wait for cable on that one. Not because I don’t think it was well made it’s just not my type of movie.

Just watched A-Team. It was fucking awesome. Way better then The Expendables. Obviously some action/totally brutality and destruction in Expendables beats the A-Team, but A-Team was just way more interesting. Better characters, good dialogue, good plot, regardless how outlandish some of it was (they are the A-Team damnit!).

HAHAHAH I enjoyed them both. I was worried they were going to Punk up BA for a minute but he came thru in the end. And Mad Murdock stole the show.

BA did indeed come through in the end. There were some pretty funny scenes too.
