But just talking Action flicks. In the last 10yrs I would be hard pressed to see any of your TOP 10 Action flicks. Not talking Sci-fi or Horror but Straight Up Action Flicks. Becuase I truly wonder about some of your responses to what is Action flick.

I’m not saying it was bad, I just expected better with that cast. The shotgun scene with Crews was awesome. The part where they blow the dock was cool too. But I was kind of let down by the rest.
Past 10 years? That’s tough. I liked the latest Rambo alot better. I also enjoyed Predators (not as much as Rambo). I can’t think of any other notable ones over the last 10 years that were just straight up action. If you name a few, I’ll tell you if I liked them. Since we may have different ideas about the genre.
Edit: Do you count the Bourne series as action? I loved those.

Well, all 3 Bourne movies. I loved the last 2 Terminator movies as well. But again, I guess those were action/thriller movies as well.

300 kicked azz, The Terminator movies IMO sucked azz the last 2 that is. I have to say Action and this is sad because they were superhero computer animated action movies for the most part but I’ll except them

In that order. Its sad they are just not making movies that may offend kids or parents or girlfriends anymore. I totally understand the gripes people have about the flick. Was it the perfect movie NO, Was it an EXCELENT ACTION MOVIE HELLLLLL YES. Will I see it agian already have. This is the end of this type of flick without a doudt
to those bashing JCVD (character aside), you either were born in the 90s, or in the 60s. Anyone who loved action movies in the late 80s/early 90s has to want JCVD in a movie like this.

A funny thing that I just remembered about this movie was the early scene with Drago and Jet Li. My girlfriend is Asian and she was totally let down by that scene. She said they made Jet Li look like a pussy. lol
I do kind of agree with her on that. I like bad ass Jet Li (Lethal Weapon 4?) better than the character he played in this movie.

I liked the Condemned. I was surprise the WWF made a decent movie. I guess you’re alright.

The Condemned was pretty good. Steve Austin was badass in that movie.

it was a great movie. sly did good.
great action, fight/knife-work/car chase scenes. statham was awesome. lundgren, crews and austin looked amazing and had good parts. it could have been better written but it is not that far behind rambo, imo.
a superb action experience.
plus, the machete trailer was promising and i saw a poster for a new movie starring the rock.
