The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America

They don’t?

Smart people are capable of thoughts more substantive than pointing out spelling errors. Do you have any interest in the topic at hand, or are you simply trying to decrease the signal to noise ratio of the forums?

And the true solution is to prohibit cell-phone manufacturers to leave out remote access capabilities when the phone is off.

It’ll never happen.
Yeah, just like busting people for copying DVDs and CDs. Hold the corporations who created and distributed the technology responsible. Ain’t gonna happen.

… Have you even seen Google Street View?

Yes. It’s cute that they took the time to drive the camera trucks all over the country. It’s a great service and it doesn’t violate anyones rights. But, as I said, it gives insight into what can actually be done.

Between all the street cameras, internal cameras, cellphone gps trackers, satellite view and eavesdropping it’s pretty clear that the ability is very present. The question is - will we just become docile to all of this and open the gate to actual use of all this technology? It’s inevitable that if the power is there, one day someone will decide to use it.
An update on where Google Street View will be heading soon:

Iserbyte doesn’t point out to her public they are dumb. Neither does David Ray Griffin or Oliver Stone in his JFK movie.

They are revealing a conspiracy, intended by definition to remain secret, so people realise they have been misled.

You could have passed for a dumb if you acted like one; your actions rather show a concerted effort to obscure and offuscate the issues; thus i logically called you a disinfo whore.

Now troll on.

The deliberate dumbing seems to have infected the forum.

Technology brings many wonderful things as well as new problems. Same as it ever was.

It is almost impossible to have a reasonable discussion of these issues when the tinfoil hat brigade gets out of their padded rooms and onto the internet.

HH, I always thought you were a reasonable guy that enjoyed trolling but this is too much.

No, I have very little interest in the topic at hand and only have an interest in mocking/insulting the resident crew of Conspira-Trolls that have - in yet another fit of irony - dumbed the forums down, possibly beyond repair. It is an act of self-regulation.

I don’t care about spelling errors - the point was, simply enough, that someone, namely Jeffdirect, a half-literate, barely readable Conspira-Troll, was complaining about the “dumbing down” of America (as a deliberate conspiracy, mind you) all the while putting together fragment sentences and misspelled words.

Irony. Look it up.

History runs in cycles. These cycles are based upon the ability of a central government to project force. For ex, when Rome was no longer able to project power, parts of the Empire could simply refuse to pay their taxes. Many did. This system eventually evolved into feudalism, where each castle was its own little government.

In 1490, gunpowder was brought to Europe. Castle walls and armored knights became obsolete. Because technology allowed the destruction of small pockets of defense, the offense became predominannt. Whoever had the most cannons won. The nation-state became the main form of government. (BTW: the web and international capitalism are making the nation-state obsolete.)

But now, weapons are becoming smaller, like suitcase nukes and bio weapons. Individuals themselves can truly cause a lot of havoc.

Therefore, the governments around the world are responding. They adopted things like communism and sharia law to enslave their subjects. Only by the complete elimination of liberty can ALL individuals be controlled. They will have to be controlled from birth, through education and absolute intimidation. Its perfectly logical.

You’re right, I misspoke. Since I don’t know where the truth lies on the subject, to say that 9/11 was a ‘false flag op’ was an error.

Thank you: a sane utterance.

Wow - you have 19 posts, and you want to come in and ride herd on typo errors?

Another ankle-biter - just what we need around here.

Irony is mocking or insulting someone for spelling or grammar errors and committing one of your own.

Irony is accusing someone of degrading the quality of the forums while you add nothing of substance and admittedly only have an interest in mocking and insulting.

Your primary objective is to be a pain in the ass, which is why you run around pointing out spelling errors. Don’t you have anything better to do? Your life must suck.

Walk me through this one TB: how is the number of posts of any relevance?

Of course, that wasn’t why I was mocking the Conspira-Trolls (note my statement “I don’t care about spelling errors”).

Sorry, “Gael” - you want me to have some respect for these half-literate vermin, but they sealed their fate with regular posters around here long before you showed and started whining in their defense.

Mocking and insulting Conspira-Trolls does add value - anything that sends a message that aren’t wanted is a step in the right direction.

Of course, it is not - if you had been around here for, say, for more than ten minutes, you’d know that.

The Conspira-Trolls are the termites eating the wood out of PWI - and, of course, there is nothing wrong in saying so.

You are new here but to say Thunderbolt adds nothing of substance is unforgivable.

Most posts of his are history lessons. Anyone that is mocked greatly deserves it.

A lot of good that does in my pocket.

In all seriousness though, has it ever been considered the amount of resources it would take to keep tabs on the every citizen. As much as I hate the idea of the intrusions on my life I also understand what it would require to do so. Nearly every person would find work in government monitoring data transmissions and CCTV images not to mention the number of analysts that would be required to interpret it. Intelligence data is useless with out good analytics.

I wonder how many of those cameras in Houston are actually wired. You know how sometimes people will slap security alarm stickers on the inside of their home windows as a deterrent to would be burglars…?

Sorry thunder!

Apparently this is a feud that goes back a long way. I was just taking your comments at face value and in the context of this thread, they seemed unwarranted. I’ll chill out.

I wish you a pleasant day and good training.
