Really? I had a sense of hope overcome me after I saw this film
I thought humanity was doomed, then I watched this film and it my faith was restored.
I’m joking btw, this is one of the most disturbing films ever made.
There’s a movie called gummo that has a similarly bleak, nihilistic vibe. About a rural town in the Midwest that is ravaged by a tornado. Follows the disturbed, broken inhabitants as they try to escape the mundane by any means possible. It’s not quite as bad as kids, but it’ll also make you feel queasy.
Kids however is actually a decent film in despite of how morally repugnant the content is. Gummo isn’t a very good film, but it is very, very disturbing.
