Know that was said in jest, but comparing this to TDK is completely unfair. TDK is a once in a lifetime, 700 ft grandslam. The odds of that happening again are basically zero. With that, I have complete confidence that Nolan hits this outta the park just as he did with Batman Begins. This movie will be awesome, just hope I can give it its own shot without constantly saying “that was cool, but The Dark Knight was better”.

I don’t think this 3rd film will be comparable to the 2nd, just as the 2nd wasn’t comparable to the 1st. By that, I mean it won’t be “better” or “worse” but just an entirely new chapter that can stand alone as it’s own story like the first two. The first 2 had such a different feel. If anything, I think this movie will have more tie in with Batman Begins in order to close the trilogy right.
