The Dark Knight Rises Pt. 2

I liked back to the future 3 a lot.
The second one sucked.

They are supposed to be stupid.

If you expect any deeper meaning from a movie featuring a pirate with guyliner the problems is not the movie but probably you.
Wait…are we talking about Pirates of the Caribbean or those Arash videos?
I think the guyliner rule is one of the universal laws of the universe and I will stick to that hypothesis until proven wrong.

Pirates 3 was damn awesome, wtf. They were shooting canons at one another in the middle of a gigantic maelstorm created by an evil goddess, then the ships got tangled and it all boiled down to hand to hand fighting between the army of the damned and a bunch of sick pirates.

How are you people saying it was a bad movie ?

Also, my response to anyone who thinks The Return of the King was bad.

It was not on the same level as TDK, but overall I think it was a really good movie and a fitting end to the trilogy. Without giving away any of the plot I will say that they left it open for possible sequels which I think would be a mistake. I agree that Hathaway was not a good choice for Selina, she just did not do well. The rest of the cast ranged from pretty good (i.e. Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate) to awesome (all the returning characters and Bane).
Didn’t want to say anything about a possible sequel as I thought that’d be a spoiler, but now that that cat is outta the bag I can guarantee who at least one of the villains would be.

Well, if anyone needed any explanation why the heavy cavalry dominated Europes battle fields for centuries, this was it.

i loved the 2nd one, 3rd was meh… to the previous guy, sure you’re not thinking of the 4th? that one wasn’t that good.

It’s weak and preachy in a Waterworld sort of way. Very heavy-handed far leftwing politics preached as Gospel.

Attention Hollywood: I go to movies to be entertained, not watch Pravda.
Romney??? LOL. Jaded by “politics”…pretty sad.

The “teaser trailer” for Man of Steel was weak.
It was a perfect…teaser. People just wanted to see more…me included…lol.

Yes…he was…I felt it fits the character’s background and physical ailments. But it could have been edited to understand him better.

Don’t think it will SPOIL it for people anymore than your comment…but…SPOILER ALERT:

The government wasn’t their salvation…and it wasn’t about giving power back to the people. Bane didn’t care about the people…him and That Certain Relative wanted Gotham turned to ashes…thats it. The people were given false hope…and false power. I know there will always be “political” elements in films…no getting around that. But I can enjoy a movie without drinking red or blue Kool-Aid. Don’t get why others can’t do the same shrug Must suck.

YES…all that matters!

I can’t think of a good 3rd part of any trilogy except Return of the King.
Return of the Jedi…

I for one enjoyed it.

I can’t say if I preferred it more than the others yet until the I can look at it from a more objective view.

The ending to me was perfect and I actually cried haha my main grief was Bane, although I thought the character was amazing. I can’t really say why I didn’t like his involvement because it would be a massive spoiler.

It felt exactly like prometheus to me though, in that it wasn’t long enough. Too many key scenes weren’t fleshed out and that really pissed me off.

I know what you are talking about with Bane and I agree, it was not anywhere near what I expected and that should have been done better. It was still a really good movie and I will watch it again.

Awful tragedy that has happened in Colorado. My heart goes out to all the families and victims. It was even mentioned on my Facebook that some people might not go see the movie…don’t hold the movie theater, production companies or even the actors responsible for the chaos of one man’s mind.

This would be even more of a tragedy if we hide because of this lunatic.

It will take us some time to feel safe again but I for one will still go see the movie.

It just cheapened a lot of the hours before hand just to produce an unnecessary twist, yeah I look forward to watching it again but in IMAX, I hope it grows more and more on me each time I see it just like Prometheus did.

I surprised there isn’t as much as a reaction in this thread. Must people are talking about the movie. Not judging anyone just an observation.

What is there to say?

He’s a wackjob with crazy eyes and a reminder why I have a concealed carry permit, as if the Hezbollah who blew up a bus a couple days before were not enough of a reminder we live in dangerous times.

Nobody blows up our buses.

Then again, we do not have a couple of hundred thousand people under our yoke.

That, I could not possibly resist.

The whining reviews on this thing are way too funny. Its a great movie. Its a great triology. No way you wouldnt watch it if it came up on Tv. Every Imax and 1st two showings around me were sold out, obviously its good to draw attention. Oh catwoman not who you expected her to be because you have some retarded idea of being able to cast and direct way better than those who did the film? GTFO. Who would have fit the role? Bane = badass, pure, intelligent evil. Way different than what I was expecting because he was not pure chaos, he was intelligent pure chaos. There were some serious story flaws, but I dont care and I forgive, they did a great job with the whole dang thing.

As far as colorado is concerned, nucking futs. Why did that sob have to do that in a cool movie? Why not Twilight or Magic Mike?? Its a disaster and what the hell is wrong with colorado? What is more strange is the bomb in the theater, they dont know who it belongs to as of now. They upped the terroist level because of this. Its not jihad, its a white american. He was dressed as Bane but upon getting arrested said he was The Joker. Props to PD for not shooting him, I have no idea how that arrest could have taken place. There is a lot going on with how and why it happened. I hope the dude likes rape, cause thats what he is in for.

K the people who thought the movie was bad need to calm down. It was a great movie. In the same league as the last one. Maybe better maybe not. Honestly I’m kind of tired of people being so critical of movies.

Oh and what are these story flaws that you speak of?

Btw the thing in Colorado was a tragedy. It is nothing more than a deluded person who made an extremely shitty decision.

I will move the story problems over to the spoiler thread as to not piss others off

Lest I forget, the original Day of the Dead gets my vote for a quality threequel.
