Dallas comes off like a team that is content with winning regular season games, making commercials, and dating supermodels rather than winning championships.
Those types of teams don’t win championships.

Yes, I by no means wish this to turn into a baseball-bashing thread. A lot of people love it.
I just personally find it boring, and can’t stand having summer SportsCenters be 60 straight minutes of ‘grounder to the short-stop, he dives, and throws to first, what a play’.
Oh but wait, we occasionally get golf and nascar “highlights”. Someone help me contain my elation.
Wow, this is pretty scary in terms of how I feel about baseball and that other ‘sport’ (driving a car is not a sport.)
And sorry to tell you, but the Packers will be winning the Super Bowl this year… and probably the next 10-15 years after that, too.

LOL, wouldn’t that suck for Favre, he finally retires only to have the kid come in and win a SB in his first year as a starter.
In the AFC, I see it being a 3 horse race between IND, JAX, and SD. The Patriots are overdue for a serious injury, and they have the SB runner-up hangover to contend with. They will still win the East with little trouble, but expect an early playoff exit and an entertaining Randy Moss meltdown. Pittsburgh’s schedule is incredibly tough, and they are one O-line injury away from being a complete mess. But Roethlisberger will find a way to get 10 wins and the North title. The Jags are finally going to take Indy’s title in the South this year. I see them finishing 13-3 with Indy behind them at 11-5. The Chargers have next to no competition in the West, so they will have 6 easy division wins. I also think Houston is going to surprise everyone by squeaking in as a wild card with 10 wins.
AFC Champ. game: JAX over SD
In the NFC, I think Minnesota will be the North winner. Jared Allen will be a difference maker, and AP/Chester Taylor will combine for 2500 rushing yards. Philly will bounce back with McNabb at full speed again and take the top spot in the East from Dallas. Carolina will surprise everyone with a 10 win season in the South. And Seattle will continue their domination of the PAC 10 with 11 wins.
NFC Champ. game: Philly over Seattle
SB Prediction (for what it’s worth): JAX over Philly

How is Romo Overrated really? He has not been annointed the next Aikman. Even here in Dallas we still have a linger of doubt, talk about overrated, hmmm lets find other names, how about Eli before he won the ring or Carson Palmer. All very good QB’s but not better than Tony in my opinion of course.
All the Giant fans hated Eli before he won the SB, saying how they should have taken River’s.
Also take away Eli’s line and receiver, I think he will suck as well, just like every QB will.
Romo is not overrated at all, he just gets tons of exposure because of that damned star on his helmet. I don’t see anyone mentioning him in the same breath as Peyton and Brady. He is an above average QB with exceptional mobility and a great TE/WR/RB. Eli would be much worse off with a below average O-line.

The Browns are pulling people off the street to play corner for them. How are they going to stop Ward, Holmes, Miller, and Sweed?
fuck you die slow all doubters
jk
Eagles will not be in the SB, LOL
Any titan fans? Is Pac-man really that good? I have not seen his play in game.
Im a boys fan and wondering if he is really worth the risk.
In all seriousness, I foresee the Saints having another good season, close to their '06 outing. A new, improved defense and a [hopefully] helthy Deuce could make this team unstoppable. They are by far the biggest game I fear on this year’s schedule. (As a Packers fan.)
As far as the AFC is concerned, I’m thinking the Jags are going to usurp the Colt’s crown IN the playoffs, not in the regular season, but when it counts most. It will come down to these two. The Pats will be solid, but we’ll see.
Tony Romo and holding place kicks

You would have said the same thing last year about the Giants. We won’t know until January.
One thing is for sure Football is King of All Sports. Cowboys will be on top of the NFC.
I just do not see how the Packs are considered top five in the NFC. They do not have a QB in place, which is the #1 thing in the NFL. A la Chicago Bears…the Saints may have a chance only because of a weak division but come on and improved defense that was sorry in the first place.
Giants still get no love, gotta love it.
Hope my boys continue to get overlooked. They’ll just continue to go about their business, dominate the line of scrimmage (on both sides) and we’ll see what happens.

I thought the same thing before the 06 season. They had a great run, and I am half a Giants fan since they ruined the 19-0 bullshit of the most evil sports organization on the planet, but it is highly unlikely that they will repeat.

Agreed on the football being kind of all sports comment.
Disagree with the Pack speculation, as of now, without knowing how any team will indefinitely do next year, we do know that the Pack has a fairly young, talented team that did well last year.
We may not have a set quarterback in place, but if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t work out, we have a sure quick-start quarterback in Brian Brohm who would have been a top 3 pick in the '07 draft if he would have done it. His stock was only hurt because his team was god-awful.
Defense, on the other hand, is a given. We’ve had a top-10 defense in the league in at least a few categories for the last couple years, and not much as changed. They’ve quietly had a great defense.
The only team in the division that gives me any worry is the Vikings, mostly because they acquired JDB, who may end up actually having a good pro career. And let’s not forget about AD, that offensive line, and that rediculous defense.

Romo does have an IT factor. A non-draft pick out of a no-name college and he is leading America’s team. Come on fnf.
Still they do have to prove it in the playoffs they are winless so far in the post-season. Also what concerns me is the Circus Atmosphere surrounding this team. Regardless they are supremely talented and barring an injury are a top five ranked team.
I give props to Romo in the regular season, but in the playoffs he’s been average. Maybe I’m just still mad cuz he cost me money. TWICE haha

Let’s just say, Westbrook works out at my gym, any time I want to be sure they don’t win, I can just drop a 45# plate on his foot
I kid, I kid …

Yeah, the Cowboys were the OBVIOUS favorite last year too… until the Giants revealed that Tony Romo is nothing without his line and receivers.
Romo = Most overrated QB of my time (the current decade).
The Pats won’t be as good as last year, so I’m thinking the Chargers will be the big AFC team to beat (ignoring the obvious Pats/Colts of course).
I’m also looking for the Browns to be a surprising champ of their division.
Also, I think the Eagles are going to surprise a lot of people this year, like the Giants did last year (though maybe not to that extent :P)
Obviously your hate for Romo is because you’re jealous that an amazing qb like him is not on your team. Also you must not have watched the playoffs or the superbowl first off the giants defense played balls to the walls lights out in the playoffs they even made brady play bad. Also Dallas could have easily won that game a dropped td in the endzone a drop by the sure handed patrick crayton and he quit on a route that would have resulted in a td.
Stop bashing someone because you don’t like them. Get some balls and recognize talent.

You are a steelers fan!! Doubting the cowboys is what you people do! Eagles are pretty much down and out right now. Mcnabb has no confidence because they drafted kolb last year and philly fans want someone who won’t be injured half of the season.
Philly will go 7-9 redskins 6-10 dallas 14-2 and the giants will go 10-6 which is a one game improvement over last year.
Dallas vs Chargers in the superbowl cowboys winning.
Patriots are getting old belicheat is a proven penis lover/cheater. They are an injury away from catastrophy thats on either side of the ball… well not really but if brady gets injured done. If moss is injured done. You can only have a really effective wes welker with a healthy moss.
Tony romo will set dallas cowboys passing records again in yards tds completion percetage completions and attempts. If you take away that 5 pic game from buffalo tony would have had 36 tds and 14 pics… but I’m going from memory so don’t qoute me. Marion barber will not get injured he is not injury prone but he is prone to injuring oncoming defenders.
Monte kiffin the defensive coordinator of the eagles said marion barber is the hardest running back to bring down. I think the patriots found that out when they played dallas when he broke 8 tackles on one play. You tub marion barber vs the patriots. Then say something.

The goal is to win as many games in the regular season as possible and hope for a bye week, duh.
Making commercials not only gets the Dallas cowboys more air time which is good for the franchise but also gets people like tony romo more money. Everyone wants more money.
Also don’t be upset because the qb of americas team of one of the worlds most known teams is dating Jessica Simpson. It’s ok you never could neither could I hating gets you nowhere.
Long story short what you wrote was nonsense.
